We do. It wasn’t a priority but my husband did end up picking a band that matches my rings:

Not really. We both have plain bands, but mine is white gold and his is yellow gold.

We both went with what we liked. They dont match. He didn’t know anything about jewelry when it came time for band shopping and was amazed that yellow gold was an option for him since everyone he knows has tungsten. He loves the yellow gold look. I keep catching him looking down at his ring like I do with mine… 🙂

We wanted to but a plain band didn’t look right with mine. We bought them together though at the same place and both platinum.

Nope. We’ll have different bands, materials and all. We just picked way we liked.

Our original wedding rings/bands matched: white metal with blue sapphires and diamonds.

This was not really intentional though. It just sort of worked out that way.

He still has his original ring, and loves it as much as ever, but he can’t wear it much due to his work.

I no longer can wear my original ring; I have a few rings now I alternate with and none of them match his.

I think that each person should get exactly what they want and what they like to wear. It does not make someone “more” married to have matching bands.

No, they are completely different. His is a wide greyish black Tungsten and mine is a platinum band with channel set diamonds.

We both have white gold but his is a plain band and mine is a twisted rope style band.

Our rings are the same style but different colors and metals. Mine is tungsten, his is stainless steel.

Nope! His is a raw looking iron colored band with rose gold accent and my ring is a traditional irish engagement ring.

We both have yellow gold bands but mine is much thinner and doesn’t match my ering:

My husband wanted to somewhat “match” my ring (totally his choice, I could not have cared less as long as he was happy) and I have a rose gold e-ring. He didn’t want a rose gold band and then we stumbled on this and it’s perfect. It looks just white gold from far away (it’s actually cobalt chrome so it was relatively inexpensive, but again he chose that!!) but up close you can see the rose gold detail.

Same theme but not same bands or metals due to work restrictions
