Yes. We have His & Hers versions of the same band.

Sort of. We used the same metal.

Not at all. We each went with our own style.

Matching in the sense that we both have the same metal, yes.  I like the idea of matching!

Mine is platinum and SO’s is palladium. Mine is simple pavé and his is rigded. I like that they’re the same color, but I didn’t want the same ring as him

We don’t have ours yet, but we’re planning on getting the same style (rose gold, hammered) with his being much wider than mine. We’re also planning on making them ourselves. So it’ll be nice and simple because we’ve never made jewelry but very much matching.

I wasn’t originally planning on having matching rings, but it was very important to my fiance. So that’s what we’re going with.

Ours kinda match, but still represent our individual selves very well. We didn’t set out for them to match — I fell in love with a delicate floral pattern rose gold band, and he wanted black tungsten. But then we found a black tungsten with thin rose gold edges, and we both loved how the bands looked together. 🙂

hikingbride :  same. Originally he was going with yellow gold and then endes up coming home with rose, like mine.

We have the same plain yellow gold wedding bands but mine is thinner…We picked them just because we loved at that time yellow gold, we didn’t had any special meaning behind it…the wedding bands wouldn’t change the way you 2 committed for each other it is only metal 😉

Nope, ours don’t match at all. He has a black tungsten comfort fit band and I have platinum diamond bands.

Due to FI’s employment and a large broken knuckle he won’t be wearing a band. He will have my name tattooed on his finger.  Works for me, I get a stack!  LOL!

We haven’t bought our rings yet, but have gone and looked at some.  We both have different tastes and vastly different professions, so we decided to just get rings that we are comfortable wearing for the rest of our lives, rather than something that matches just to match

Mine is white gold, channel set. His is yellow gold with a row of diamonds. We are not married yet and he is contemplating removing the diamonds for a solid gold band. So the only similarity is that we have diamonds in our ring, and that may change.

My Fiance likes the idea of matching rings, but I say that we should both wear what we like, because we have to wear them forever. I don’t like yellow gold and he doesn’t like white or rose so mismatched it is.
