Canadian here since replies seem to differ by region. I have Ugg boots. I wear them in line at Starbucks waiting for my latte. Wearing an infinity scarf. I’m a walking cliche cool

Not my style, I remember a lot of girls wore them in college with miniskirts.  Meanwhile, I was wearing sweatpants 😀

I never have. We get quite a bit of snow here, so suede and fuzz aren’t practical, and I’ve never liked the way the classic ones look (though they do make some really cute fashion ones). I pretty much religiously stick to Sorels for the cold and rainy seasons.

Oh hell yes. I have poor circulation, high insteps, and have had frostbite on my toes several times, so I LIVE in Ugg boots in the winter. Without Uggs I’m certain my foot pain would be agonizing in the winter. I switch to Sorel’s in deep snow as I would hate to ruin the suede with salt. As soon as I arrive at work though, the Uggs go on.

Uggz (or Deckers which is the parent company) are the absolute worst. Not only are their boots made under shoddy conditions in China whilst trading under the Uggz Australia moniker (zero connection to Australia) but they are suing countless small Australian companies for using the word Ugg which here refers to a type of shoe (so like flip flop). They tried it on here in Australia and the court sided with the industry rather than Deckers but elsewhere it hasn’t been as successful. For example Emu, a long standing Australian Ugg manufacturer which sells in other countries like the USA and UK long before Deckers started selling, have been sued by deckers ( which hold a bs trademark on the word Ugg) for seller ugg boots as ugg boots.

I love love love my UGGs.

I have a pair of ‘normal’ ones which I wear indoors as slippers and then 3 other pairs of varying styles, but all slimline foot, to wear out and about. I get a lot of compliments on them.

They’re still quite popular in the UK I think.

I will always wear uggs.

I honestly think they are the ugliest shoe in the world and hated them until I sank my toes into a pair and holy shit. They are the warmest. The comfiest. They’re easy. I wear them like slippers and like winter boots and for running errands. Theyre just practical. They also have really cute designs now.

Also, I live in Texas so I’m SURE I get people making fun of me all the time. I grew up in New England, though, so for me I know the power they truly hold. I don’t care if Texans make fun of me for wearing them (it only gets down to like 40 degrees here so it’s really not cold at all). I love themmmm.

I have two types of Uggs. The short boots and some loafer style slippers. I wear both in the winter, but I prefer the slippers. I wear them all the time though (including now). They are super warm and well loved. I’ve had them for about six years now and I’m considering getting a second pair.

I’ve never owned a pair of UGGs.  I was asked several times if I wanted a pair for Christmas but I never liked them because they made my feet hot just trying them on.  My friends were all into them, and still are even though we’re in our early 30s now.  I also never got into the Crocs phase either so I guess I just avoided the big trends.

I’m a high school teacher and I still see girls wearing them.  But I see more girls wearing suede looking shoes that remind me of the old suede house slippers.  It’s been cold but hasn’t snowed yet so maybe once it does people will bring their UGGs out.

When the wind chill is below zero I don’t really care about fashion lol. I wear Bearpaws though. I have some cute booties to wear if I’m trying to dress up in the winter, but my feet freeze in them. I wear my Bearpaws every time I go out pretty much until spring lol

Hi bees

Could anyone advise me on the sizing of these boots? I read somewhere that you always order a size smaller. My measurement is 21.6cm (so Little Kid 3M) but should I go down to 2M? I can wear adult size 35 shoes most of the time, but I also wear Converse kids sneakers.

I loved my Uggs. Used to wear them all the time in when I was studying in Perth, WA.
