I was at a supermarket and flipping through a bridal magazine as I was waiting for Fiance. I noticed a gown with gold lace and thought, “Holy crap that’s AWESOME!” It was unique and seemed very.. couture. But then I thought again… is lace better in the more traditional (ivory/off white/white) color? I don’t remember which gown it was but came home and googled some…
I think I prefer the more subtle gold lace like in the third picture… What are everyone else’s thoughts?

I love gold. I originally thought my wedding dress was going to be gold, but after trying on other dresses I ended up with an ivory dress (which still has subtle color to it, although not gold). Not gold lace, but still a lovely gold dress.

My dress was a champagne color with a gold lace on top. I was very happy with it, thought it was gorgeous

I adore gold/metallic lace. Marchesa makes several gowns using it. Like this one, which I plan to get married in.

It was Aidan Mattox, but I don’t remember the name of the actual dress. I ordered it from Neiman Marcus for under $200 🙂

I’m wearing this dress, but with a modified top. It’s actually gold beading, not lace, but I love it!
