Doing dishes.. Working with raw meat… And at one of my jobs – a can and bottle redemption center, it’s just very dirty and messy and smelly there… And we have a metal counter that I regular hit my hands on, I don’t want to damage my ring 🙂

I swear mine are off more than they’re on, both rings have pave bands and get dirty easily. They’re currently sitting on my desk because I take them off before I walk to the bathroom at work. Then I usually put on hand lotion because work soap dries out my hands and before I know it they’re been off for an hour.

Mine comes off the moment I get home and I don’t put it on until I leave for work the next day.

i take my rings off when i am showering, washing my hands, sleeping, gardening, swimming, cleaning or cooking.  i typically don’t wear them if i am just at home doing nothing.  i guess i don’t wear them much.

I take mine off to put lotion on and that’s about it! And I’m pretty sure that on the honeymoon, if we’re going to the beach to swim in the ocean, I’ll leave them in the safe in the room. Of all the places for a ring to slip off and get lost, I think THE OCEAN is probably the worst 😛

Only when putting lotion on really. I forget to take it off! It’s a low-set solitaire so pretty low maintenance, and I don’t cook with meat. I cleaned the whole house the other day with my ring on, mostly just forgot to take it off!

My ring is also pretty low-maintenance, with a smooth band and low-set solitaire so I can put lotion or whatever on without getting a bunch of little stones all gunked up. If I’m getting really messy with my hands I’ll take it off, but a lot of the time, it’s not needed.

I usually put them on when I leave the house and take them off when I get home–definitely for cooking, cleaning, showering, and working out at the very least!

Such a good question!

I take it off when cooking, cleaning, & getting a manicure.
