If you hit the lottery for 13.5 million… what would you do and would you still be on wedding bee..LOL
If you hit the lottery for 13.5 million… what would you do and would you still be on wedding bee..LOL
I would buy a nice home (not stupid big) some nice cars (not ferrari’s ect…) go for a trip around the world….donate a lot to charity….pay off my families homes…put some money in a trust for my kids….I know, I’m boring LOL
I would pay off my car, buy Fiance a new car, pay the rest of our wedding, and buy a house. The rest would sit in the bank and be used as needed. I would organise time off work for Fiance and I and go on a holiday. After the wedding I would start TTC instead of putting it off a year.
I would not quit working (well when i had a child i might to be a stay at home mum)
I would –
A. donate to the American Diabetes Association, ASPCA & all local animal shelters.
B. Buy a house, nothing CRAZY though. But something nice.
C. Buy two new vehicles. (An SUV for me.) ๐
D. Travel to a few places.
Oh & this is small but I would also get a Insulin Pump for myself.
Yes, I would still be on weddingbee. ๐
-Pay off student loans and credit card debt
-Pay off FI’s mortgage
-Donate to charity
-Buy our dream home (our dream home now not our millionaire dream home)
-Take an awesome trip around the world (then go back to work after!)
-Save the rest
-pay off our student loans
-put a scholarship fund aside so that we can finish going to school, and our kids have some money.
-Buy a new car for both of us
-put the downpayment on a house
-have an awesome wedding
-take my whole family on a cruise
-go on one on one vacations with my mom and my dad
-donate some to the Calgary Boys and Girls Club
-donate to the cancer center that treated my step mom
-put a lot of it into the bank.
Pay off student loans, pay for my grad degree, and FI’s undergrad. I would buy a small-medium size house, and get married sooner rather than later. I would also buy a puppy, give money to the RSPCA, and give presents to family/friends
I’d probably still be on the Wedding Bee, lol. I’d want to give money to my parents and in-laws to help with debt/paying off their houses. Pay off FI’s loans. Travel and donate to charity. Most importantly, invest in a huge library with one of those rolling ladders. ๐
If I won the lottery, I would:
I would still be on the bee! ๐
1) Buy or build a new custom house. Nothing too huge, but all custom exactly how we want it and a nice yard
2) Buy my parents a house near us, pay off my in laws’ houses and my brother’s house, buy my sister in law a house.
3) Pay off our student loans, buy my husband a sweeeeeet new car
4) Take an awesome vacation, send our parents on awesome vacations
5) Set up a collge fund for our nephew
6) give a bunch of money to charity
7) dump the rest in a savings account/investment accounts
Actually I would go back and get a couple of degree’s too ๐
Pay student loans off
Pay off all my debt
Pay off all my parents debt, including their house
Buy a house
Buy my sisters houses and pay off their debt
Put away college savings funds for 6 nieces/nephews
Buy a Jaguar
Vacation for a year
Lots of money to church for renovations, pay off mortgage, etc.
Charity
My biggest purchase by far would be moving to Hawaii and buying a nice home overlooking the ocean (in Hawaii that would be 2-3million) I would also start a new outdoor recreation business there (which would take another 2-3 million to start with what I’m thinking I’d like to do!) I would also start having babies immediately following the wedding. My maternity health insurance doesn’t kick in until almost a year after the wedding (which is BS!) so we have to wait. If money was no option I would get started right away…on the night of the wedding!!
Other things:
I would foot the bill for yearly family trips with my immediate family (mom/dad, sisters/brothers and their children) Fun things like Disney World, Cruises, Skiing vacations (my favorite trip ever was renting out a mansion in the snowy mountains with my immediate family…ahhh!) This would be probably 20,000 or so each time.
I am already incredibly generous in my every day life with my family so I would continue to do so – I would pay off everyone’s houses, cars, student loans, credit card debt etc. My family is pretty wealthy across the board but I’m sure they appreciate not having any debt whatsoever.
I would hire a personal chef.. Although I love cooking, I love being cooked for more!
I would set up college funds for all my nieces/nephews.
