thepuzzledpeach : I can’t remember the brand, but my husband got a pack of 4 or 5 silicone rings on Amazon a few years ago (coming up on 3 years I think), partly because he had been sick and lost weight, and his wedding ring was too big, which it still is, and partly because he has to take his real ring off for most of his work and had left it in a work truck in another city once (got it back, but still). He of course chose to wear the camo one and I thought great, wear it first, when it breaks you can switch to a nicer grey one. Ya, 2.5 years and still going strong on the camo 😂
I wear my full wedding set almost all the time, but I have a chevron ish band that was made to fit my solitaire setting, and they are soldered together. For the last few weeks of pregnancy/first few months of having a newborn I wore just a tiny gold band and kinda liked it… maybe I will get a plain anniversary band one day to give myself that option more officially.

thepuzzledpeach : I have the groove ring but tbh I got mine for free through my work. My husband needs to resize his white gold ring so he’s been exclusively wearing silicone. His groove ring worked really well except he recently lost a significant amount of weight and it eventually fell off and got lost because his ring size changed. So if that’s a risk I would maybe just go with a cheap one since it might get lost. But the silicone rings are a little more flexible. Half sizes weren’t an option so mine is a 5 when I wear a 4.5, but it doesn’t slip the way a metal ring does and also doesn’t feel too tight when it gets hot.

I wear my full set every day but mine is soldered because my wedding band was custom made to fit my e-ring. I’d still wear the full set even if it wasn’t. It’s all still very new to me and I’m not ready to not wear it lol. In the future I can see myself getting a simple band to wear if I ever don’t feel like wearing my full set though.

Don’t have my band yet but I will likely wear full set most days outside of house. And just band around the house. I don’t wear my engagement ring inside the house because doesn’t make sense to me. I want to lotion, wash, cook, shower, eat foods that drip without taking it off. I work from home most days. I don’t sleep with it on. So if I don’t leave the house I don’t wear ring that day.

Not married yet, but I plan to wear my full set pretty much all of the time. The exception is work. I’m a nurse and it’s our unit policy not to wear any jewelry from the elbows down due to infection control concerns. I always just safety pin my ring to my scrub top, which is what most of my coworkers do. I’m not really a jewelry person, but I’m sentimental about my bridal set. I was the same way for my first marriage and bridal set.

I wear my full set as much as I can except when I’m showering, sleeping, doing mucky things. I love my set very much and I like having them on my finger. 🙂

I wear mine 24/7…including sleeping, showering and working out. I have a fairly high set 1.95 CT round brilliant solitaire, so I have scratched myself in the face a few times
, but overall I feel incomplete without them on. The only time I take either ring off is to clean them once a week.

I wear both my rings 24/7. No exceptions. I almost never take them off. Not for showering, exercising (as if I’ve ever set foot in a gym during the past year 😂), not for boating, snorkeling, snowboarding, waterskiing, clubbing, traveling of any kind or whatever. I only take it off when I am doing my nails. Then it’s cleaning time and I soak my rings in cleaner.
I have a solitaire and a full eternity band (both wg) and I am in my late 30’s.
klacey11 : I am with you only I clean my rings every 14 days.

“Full bridal set” kinda makes me smile, l have always just called them rings, engagement and wedding rings.
Everone l know (l’m much older than the average bee and so are my friends) wear both all the time, or if working with hands maybe just wedding ring. Our wedding rings tend not to have stones in though.
There is nothing new in wearing both daily dear op.

I usually wear my full set out of the house (unless going to swim or work out) but take my engagement ring off as soon as I get home. I hate sleeping with my engagement ring as it pokes my face!

elderbee :
I know there’s nothing new in wearing both. That said, (and this is purely anecdotal), when I was growing up, I remember many of the married women around me wearing only a wedding band and no engagement ring. I never saw my own mom’s engagement ring until I was in the process of getting engaged myself. I didn’t even know she had one! My best friend had a similar experience with her mom – never seeing her mom’s engagement ring until she was getting married and her mom pulled it out to show her one day.
I know the full set isn’t a new trend but I guess I was just a little bit surprised to realize I was almost the only one in my social circle who planned to wear just my wedding band most of the time. I thought there would be at least a couple of others who opted for the same!

I would definitely wear both! I already have kids, so I don’t need to worry about scratching any babies. I can wear them at work. I don’t have a fancy engagement ring and I have a simple channel band.

I’m quite like the OP. I always have my wedding band on. It is a plain 3mm comfort band (which I know is considered thick these days but I’m a klutz so my husband and I decided to go for the 3mm for me). I hardly wore rings before getting engaged. Once in a blue moon I would put on a ring from F21 for fun (if I even remembered before leaving the house) and I honestly did not get used to wearing an engagement ring. My Mother-In-Law wears her engagement ring, her annversary ring and wedding band 24/7 even while exercising and swimming. She seems very comfortable with them on but I am the complete opposite.
I only put on my engagement ring for a full set mostly on weekends when I’m out with my husband and/or for special occasions.
