@Jacquelinesc84:  I want my kitchenaid, and my clothing steamer but my really ridiculously frivilous item that I’m kind of ashamed to admit is there but I’m secretly hoping someone buys is my $150 Kate Spade Tea Pot and the $60ea teacup and saucers.  I’m obsessed.  Even if I get 1 teacup I’d be happy because I’d have 1.

@Jacquelinesc84:  We’ve kept our registry pretty slim- we both lived alone before we lived together, so we really are set in terms of housewares and very little needs actual upgrading. I did register for a stand mixer and the pasta roller attachment because I really do like to bake a lot and I have some hand/wrist issues that make stirring a thick substance a smidge uncomfortable. We also registered for china and some nice sheets. I guess other than the stand mixer, there’s nothing too egregious on there.

I truly wanted everything on our registry. Some were big ticket items (KitchenAid mixer) but I bought a KitchenAid mixer for some friends a couple years ago for their wedding, so I don’t think any of it is ridiculous. However, our honeymoon registry was far more popular than our brick and mortar registry, so we didn’t end up withe too many physical presents. But we had a kick ass honeymoon!

He wanted a new vacuum (which was the first thing bought of our registry!) and I want a set of linen sheets.  At $250 I doubt I’ll get them, but a girl can dream 🙂

@k8 : Yes– a vitamix!! I don’t doubt its awesome, but he really only uses the blender for protein shakes, so not sure how much he *really* needs it. I’m glad to know it is at least worth what it costs, just in case someone does end up getting it. . .

I have two different Dysons on my registry. Either or both would be awesome to get!

Oooo I don’t get to register yet, but I’m def joining the KitchenAid Mixer club! I kind of also want a Nespresso machine but that’s a bit silly as I still love my Moka Pot. A new vacum would also be nice. But for sure the KA Mixer!

Once we get closer to the wedding and it makes sense for us to have a registry, I am only registering for mainly a couple big ticket items and then little things we never seem to have enough of. I am BOUND AND DETERMINED someone is going to buy me a sweet Dyson vacuum! We already have pretty much everything we need. The only other bigger item I am dying to have is a kitchenaid food processor. We definitely need a new vacuum but I am trying to make it last 2 more years so we can hopefully get a nicer one as a present! and I reeeallyyy want a nice food processor. I bake a lot so having it would be SO nice.

And to everyone saying you are registering for a kitchenaid mixer…if you don’t get it for your wedding PLEASE BUY IT. It is my favorite appliance. I love my mixer, it really makes my life 10x easier when I am baking. It is so worth the money. We got mine from Bed, Bath & Beyond with a 20% off coupon. It was like $60 off!

@Jacquelinesc84: The one I knew we wuldn’t get was the $300+ food processor.  The one I knew we wouldn’t get, but really hoped we would, was a crystal whiskey decanter. It was the first thing purchased.  It has whiskey in it now, sitting atop the bar I made out of an old record/radio cabinet.

@Duncan:  I wanna see the cabinet if you have a pic. I’m obsessed with them on pinterest. A nice bar is a must have in our next home.

We put a lot of normal stuff, but I did put a new KitchenAid mixer (the professional) as well as one Waterford crystal vase.  We did put The Hotel Collection bedding on there because we liked it and would buy it with the discount after our wedding, but a few familly members went together and got the whole thing Surprised  I am shocked but excited!
