I might be biased but hands down, the emerald cut because it’s understated and elegant.  I love the hall of mirrors effect and the bold flashes of light it gives off…simply breathtaking!!

I second the emerald cut. I think it’s timeless and elegant and just kind of regal looking.

I just love the oval! It sparkles just as much as a round but faces up bigger.  All of my friends have round and I just wanted to be a little different.  Ovals are just a bit more unique but it’s still classic and timeless.  I also feel that I have short, stocky fingers so the oval really helps to elongate my fingers.  It’s just so beautiful and elegant!

I love emerald cut, but really anything square or rectangular. I like the sharper angles better than the more curved cuts.

From your list I’ve voted Marquise, I love it, it’s unusual and elegant. By I also love heart cut stones. My engagement ring is a heart cut tanzanite.

I have a round Brilliant diamond engagement ring and an oval morganite rhr but I have to agree with PP’s, I love the look of emerald cuts and would love to have one someday… just stunning!

teacherbee2017 :  It really depends on the setting.

I love emerald and oval halos, they’re so glamorous and romatic. But the quality emerald cut and size oval cut I like would both be too much $ for me, close to $10,000 for the diamond alone, not counting the $2-3K setting.

I love rounds for everything. My heart swoons over a beautiful 6-prong round solitaire with a pave half-eternity or 7 stone wedding band.

I really love all shapes but I think I love ovals, cushion and step cuts closely followed by rounds. I really love hearts too . I didn’t at first until I bought one then fell in love.
