I am part Irish (never been to Ireland, have no right whatsoever to claim any Irish identity) so part of me enjoys the idea of giving my daughter some unpronounceable Irish name, like Caiomhe or Aoife.

Currently 29 weeks pregnant with a boy and the name we have picked is a bit different and not commmon at all. Im super happy with it but havn’t shared it with anyone yet until he is born!
If I was having a girl I really really love the name Emerald..with Emmy as a nickname. I also love the name Gemma but thats my female cats name so cant use it now lol

I was quite obsessed with the name Oliver for a long time, with Ollie as a nickname. My ex-husband was never boarding that train, but before our split I had his sister and mother on board. When I moved out and got a new dog, I named him Oliver. So now it’s definitely out! He wanted Jackson for a boy, but that name is so incredibly popular right now that I was not going to allow it. (Unless he let me have Oliver as the middle name.) For a girl we planned on combining our middle namesto Annalee. I wasn’t super sold on it, but I admittedly don’t know any. Luckily – I won’t have to have either of these battles.
SO likes the name Aubrey for a girl, but I just can’t. I think maybe Chelsea on Teen Mom ruined it for me. We currently like Mackenzie and I would LOVE Hadley, for a girl. For a boy we both like Hunter James.

But….I think I would still consider using these as middle names.

If we have a boy, our #1 name is Lucas. But my #1 name for a girl is Leah. I LOVE them both, but I would not have the heart to call my kids luke and leah haha! So Leah is my guilty pleasure name 🙂

stevielee : My guilty pleasure names are “Rage” for a girl (I read a book with a Rage Winnoway and I lovvvveddd that name) and “Rogue” for a boy.
My other guilty boys name is Gunner – I love the sound of it, but Fiance and I are hunters/target shooters so I feel like people will think we have an unhealthy obsession with our rifles 🙁
Fiance is obsessed with “Winter” for a girl which I’m not a fan of – I hate the season!

Another Fox fan here- named our son Fox in fact!! WE get a kick out of joking around about naming our second Wolf or Raven. Haha. Too far.
I had a dream that we had a daughter named Pepper and for a minute I thought it was actually a pretty cute name!! Guilty pleasure.
