Yes! I’ve cut my husband’s hair previously in a pinch. But those clippers always make me nervous; I had him do around his ears 😅

No. To be honest, I’m not sure why this is a thing. Like, no one is going to see your hair, why do you care haha. Not worth it to me!

I shaved my husband’s head once … but that was when he was losing his hair so not sure it counts.

he has alopecia so no hair to cut for him.

Nope. He keeps it long anyway so there’s no reason to cut it…

My fiancé has been talking about shaving his head all year. He’s balding. Once all my big events were cancelled, I gave him the go ahead! I was terrified he’d look awful, but supported and helped him do it. It’s now week 3 of shaving his head and he looks great!

Yes but I always cut his hair. I just watched some YouTube videos and learned to do it myself because he and the boys kept coming home from the barber with not great cuts. It took me awhile to get the hang of it but now I can give consistently good cuts as long as they don’t want anything too crazy. And it’s free!

EllyAnne :  Wincing from the clippers? They can be painful so it’s important to go slowly. It’s easier with higher quality clippers but we just have cheap ones from Walmart so I have to be careful.

AncientAmber :  it does doesn’t it. I didn’t know how I’d find it with a bald husband but it really suits him. He has alopecia universalis so he has no hair at all. Bald is sexy

My husband just bought himself a DIY kit… I’m scared lol. I refuse to get involved cause he’s a princess about his hair. He’s also a performer and has been live streaming concerts from our home so it’s important to him not to look like an unkempt beast… not that anyone needs to justify caring about how they look, pandemic or not!

I have very very short hair, and I normally get it trimmed every other week. It only takes about 10 minutes at most & my stylist only charges me every other appointment.

It’s now been 6 weeks and it’s started to get crazy. I figure if I wait too long it will be harder to follow the shape.

So I’ve watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials and I’m going to do it tomorrow. My husband has clippers and he does his own hair, so he’ll do the back for me.

It’s true that no one really sees me, but I do find it helps my mental state when I kind of keep up with my “maintenance”.

I do pretty well with cutting men’s hair. I always cut Dh’s roomate’s hair in college, and I cut m sons’ hair for years until they decided to have longer styles that I’m not good with. I could easily cut Dh’s hair, but he prefers to have it done “professionally” (I’m pretty sure I could do a better job!). Regardless, his isn’t out-of-control yet, so no need. My sons on the other hand are getting seriously bushy.
