LilliV :  I miss market basket😭 I’m originally from NE but live in the south. It isn’t fancy but everything is quality. Their meat and seafood counter is excellent and the store brand of most products is excellent.

Whole Foods 😬 but it is just the 2 of us and I travel 4 days/week so only 3 days of food. Sometimes Giant or Trader Joe’s.

I LOVE Wegmans so when we visit my future in-laws we always go there. Wish it were my full-time grocery store!

sf618b :  plus they are cheap and they treat their employees SO well! I actually drive to Market Basket even though I can walk to two other grocery stores because I love it so much.

HEB. We drive 30mins to the nearest one, there are no HEB’s in our metropolitan area so we make a drive to the closest one every Sunday morning. My husband and I both go every weekend and we take our baby and make a thing of it. Sometimes we stop and have breakfast on the way, or go through Starbucks and share pumpkin bread until we get there.

Its a family thing.

I’m in the UK. We shop every evening because we can’t fit a larger fridge or freezer in our kitchen. We shop at Tesco, Asda (Walmart in the UK) or the Co-op. Depending on who’s buying. My partner tends to go to Asda but I usually can’t be bothered so I go to either the Co-op or Tesco’s which is on our way home.

I’m in Canada and I am a diehard Superstore shopper.  They always have everything I need and will bring in exotic seasonal fruits (like lychees and longans) that other stores don’t.  I like their prices a lot better too than other grocery stores like Safeway and Sobeys. I also like Costco but it’s always nuts there.

I live in Canada, but we usually shop at No Frills or Food Basics. Sometimes we will go to Walmart for seafood because I find the prices there are better than the other two stores. I usually look at the flyers we get in the mail on Thursday and based on what we need, I decide what sotre has the best deals. I make a grocery list throughout the week. Much easier that way.
