I found wedding bee sometime in Feb 2010 but did not join until April 2011. I made an account back in 2010 but didn’t post anything & forgot the stuff. So I only count when I really joined in 2011. Anyways long story short I think I was googling engagement rings. πŸ˜›

I thiiiiink I found it after my sister mentioned it a long time ago, clicked over, got hooked on a few stories and then forgot about it! When Mr. D started mentioning marriage I found it again. πŸ™‚

I was on a different wedding site (that I’d found through googling) and heard them talking about how different this one was. Hint: I believe the term “rainbows and sunshine” was thrown out. It sounded a lot better than where I was and so I came over for a peek and LOVED it! And have stayed ever since, which for me is over a year. I believe it was November or December 2010?

I usually just go to the “All Posts” link. I’m not into just reading one category unless I’m searching for something.

I read an article about wedding websites on CNN and the bee was one of the ones listed! I read the blog from October 2010-September 2011, then I joined the boards, and I haven’t been on the blog since.

Any question I had about wedding planning I would type it in the google search engine box and it took me straight to one of the posts you Bees had written about. After several of these incidents I decided that I could get my answers here for the most part and joined!

@Pinkmoon:  Forgot to add I just click the view all boards.

But as for which ones I check on the most it use to be the ring threads, now I do still check there alot for some ring porn but I hang out on the home threads alot as well! I which they would pick up more! Seems hardly anyone posts much on the home threads. :/

But overall I just view everything & click on what title interests me the most!

I was oggling over Maggie Sottero’s Kendra, when I came across Weddingbee and all the girls who were also dreaming about Kendra.  At the end of it all, I didn’t end up getting Kendra (she was my runnerup dress!), but alas, here i am, 6 months after my wedding day. πŸ™‚

@AmeliaBedelia:  Wonder if we were on the same site before…?  I found Wedding Bee after reading another wedding website for months and being SICKENED at the level of rudeness.  This website and another were named several times as places for people to go if they didn’t appreciate the “truth.”  LOL

I’ve since had the “other” website account deleted, I’ll never go there again.  Love Wedding Bee and the positive vibe here!  πŸ™‚
