    @MsBlackberry:  I laugh. & unless they’re flirting with me and FH, they don’t get the best tip.

    ETA: If I were you, on a bad day, I would totally be all cuddly-wuddly with FH while she watches. I’m evil. I know.

    I personally find it really funny. Darling Husband gets flirty girls after him all the time, and I think it’s hilarious. It’s flattering, because I know he’d never do anything, and hell, other ladies think my man is hot–SCORE!

    …Once at a concert, we were in the beer line-up and I was standing just ahead of Darling Husband. This girl TOTALLY didn’t realize he was with me and was totally flirting. I didn’t even say anything.I just giggled and teased him SO badly after she left. He was so mad that I left him to fend for himself.. hehe

    It’s a totally different matter if I am getting treated rudely. Darling Husband and I would never stand for that.

    I laugh hyterically and make it super awkward for Darling Husband. Nothing gives me more joy than watching him blush and squirm while he is obviously getting attention from the female variety in my presence.  It doesn’t happen often, but when it does– it gives me entertainment for days

    So I dunno if it’s something about the way we look (one or both of us) but we tend to get the same type of attention from waitstaff when we’re together. Like the surly lady is surly to both of us, the insipid bubbly girl is insipidly bubbly to both of us. I don’t know why this is.

    @MsBlackberry:  I would laugh hysterically if a waitress flirted with Darling Husband.  Hes a good looking guy so it wouldnt be uncommon but its only happened once with like a little 16 yr old! She kept smiling at him and all LOL

    Mr VeryBerry usually gets so flattered that we both laugh it off.  He can get flustered, and he tries to hide it and I lovingly tease him for it.  It’s funny to see him pretend to not care, and if it helps him get an ego boost, whatever Tongue Out

    I have had the opposite, lol a male server flirting with me and ignoring my Darling Husband. We just rolled the eyes.

    I…would probably laugh if it was really extreme.  Otherwise I don’t care.

    That’s really weird! The only time waitresses have flirted with my Darling Husband is when they seat him first & I come later (like if I had to go to the bathroom before sitting down). If they see he’s with me, I’ve never had that kind of situation since its so obvious we’re on a date!

    I’ve never had this happen at a restaurant, but I have at it happen at Walgreens. Same girl, probably about 10 times.

    Fiance didnt notice at first and was so embarassed when I pointed it out that he started calling me pet names the entire time we would be in the check out line.

    @MsBlackberry:  I don’t notice, or ignore it.

    waitresses live on tips. In general, it’s the guy paying the bill and leaving the tip, hence why they pay more attention to them or seem a bit flirty.  It pretty much has nothing to do with the guy or indicate any genuine interest, so nothing for me to get offended at.  But I am the kind who would find another woman flirting with my husband flattering anyway, and in the event that happens, it no doubt makes him feel like he’s “still got it”, and I’m likely to be the beneficiary when we get home. 🙂

    I’ve waited tables before so I think nothing of it. It’s their job to flirt, if their good and can read a table well enough to know whether they can or not and who to flirt to, sometimes it should be the wife. Darling Husband usually plays with it, pops some smart-ass flirt back. I think it’s funny. If you get a really good waitress then it can make the dining experience fun.
