I’m in a silly mood and just came across the Shel Silverstein poem (Warning: Sharp Toothed Snail). As well as watching a man dig to China in traffic the other day.
I’ll admit it – once in awhile, I enjoy a good pick. As long as I have tissues handy and clean my hands after, obviously!
Anyone else wanna admit to a dirty deed?
I know you’re out there!

I’ll admit to it! Sometimes it’s just gotta be done.

When my daughter was a teeny tiny little baby I used to looooooove using the “snot sucker” when she got a cold. She only got sick a couple times, but it was so satisfying getting all that mucous out of her little nose and helping her breathe better!
Weirdo mom here.

@KatyElle: I hated the “booger snatcher.” Horrifying, really.
But sometimes, you just gotta dig for gold.

I tell my son this poem all the time because he picks and then eats. I don’t really care he does because kids will be kids but I just don’t want him growing up still doing this.
Anyway yes I pick. There are times when its just a big one that’s stubborn. I always have hand sanitizer in my purse though, I’m a nurse and like some girls won’t leave home without lip gloss; I don’t leave home without tissues and hand sanitizer.
