Psh my dream place is in a forest. Muir Woods would have been perfect. He proposed in Golden Gate Park, which is very foresty, so that’s pretty close, and it was awesome.
But the best part was that right after we had our moment, which was completely private, a Segway tour rolled by. You can’t plan that, it was so surreal, lol.

We took a spontaneous road trip to VA beach from Ohio this past may & he told my parents he was going to do it before dinner the seond day there but, I wanted to go look for sea shells after our late dinner our first night after dark and he said he grabbed it when we went back to the room (hotel on beach) for a waterbottle for sand and a contianer and we walked along the shore for a long time and I bent down to scoop some sand in my bottle and found a really neat shell when I popped up and turned around to show him he was on one knee… Not what I was expecting 🙂 … We had the whole beach to ourselves with the sound of a band playing from the distant boardwalk he picked me up and spun me around and we kissed for a while as best we could through all the smiles

He proposed on the beach at Turks and Caicos. It was beautiful and memorable. We both love beaches and this was one of the most beautiful beaches we went to.

I voted other because I like all these places lool. Fiance proposed next to a frozen pond in a public garden and most importantly next to a willow tree (I have an obsession with those trees for some reason, maybe it’s from my Pocahontas days xD) I had a full list of places I was hoping Fiance would propose like: during our trip to Italy or any trip really, during camping at night under the stars, on a boat (we do water sports a lot), on the beach, at our high school where we met, at the top of a mountain/hiking trip… Well I guess he still chose the best place and I didn’t even think about it!!

I don’t think any of these choices fit me. I want my SO to propose at a place that’s symbolic and meaningful to our relationship. I’m thinking about the spot we first kissed. It’s a river bank at local park but super private. I could also go for a super romantic movie inspired proposal on the top of the Empire State Building — we both love arcihtecture and city scapes.
