I’ve always kept my hair at a boyish pixie length, so I’m not much help here. I’m all for mommies with short hair as I’ve seen far too many instances of long locks getting yanked by baby!

I think you would look super cute in an a-line bob though.

Great idea for a post! I can’t relate to baby but after my wedding in December I cut 6-7 inches off my dark dark brown hair and started  the process to going blonde. My next highlight session is in 2 weeks. Ialso know a lot of moms who have gone short after baby and have regretted it. They think that it will be easier but it’s harder to keep out of the face

Whatever you choose will look great. Post pics!

I had platinum blonde before baby, shoulder length As a long bob.  Now my hair is a medium brown and down past the middle of my back. I never had an issue with my baby pulling my long hair. I like the option for any hairdo. Messy bun, pony tail, or down straight.

I’m thinking about this now, at only 11 weeks. I have long hair, and while I like being able to put it up, I kind of also don’t want to be that mom who just always wears a pony tail. I haven’t had short hair in years, and it’s so tempting to consider cutting it off again. I think this is cute, though I’m not sure what it would do with my chipmunk cheeks…bob

Oh geeze…I won’t even show my off.  Let’s just say I completely understand why women chop their hair off after having a baby.

Between losing tons of hair from 4mo-10mo pp and a baby who loves to yank on it and pull it out…I wear my hair in a ponytail every damn day.  My new color was pretty worthless just to be up all the time

I didn’t even lose that much hair (it wasn’t really noticeable anyway- for some women it is) but I’d have lots of it come out every time I brushed and hair was ALL OVER the house (and even in baby’s diaper).  So ick and annoying.

It’s sort of endearing that baby loves to pull on my hair while nursing but she will yank on it, tangle it up, and pull out hairs if it’s down.  It’s gross but one of her favorite things to do is if I give her my hairbrush she’ll sit there and pull out hair to stare at and play with.

I can’t wait to wear it down again!!!

I wear my hair in a side braid everyday. It only takes me about 2 minutes to do, and I really don’t have time for anything else. Dear Daughter doesn’t pI’ll it too often.

I’ve heard that short hair is actually more work than long hair because you always have to “do” it.

I’ve also heard short hair styles can be harder than keeping long hair. I remember when I had a v-Bob hair cut and it was so cute, but I had to get a trim every 3-4 weeks otherwise the ends would flip out, even with a darn straightener. My hair is long and I’m just going to side braid it or put it up when baby comes. I remember being frustrated with shorter hair.

I chopped my hair post baby (about 2 months PP). It started to fall out and she started pulling on it so I cut a few inches off. Felt nice, I do miss my long hair, but she pulls on my hair no matter the length lol
