So I was erasing some of the riddiculous amount of wedding porn I had accumulated on my laptop in the last few month when I saw my first and only wedding dress crush. The Alfred Angelo 2123 was the 1st and only dress I fell in love with. I was so excited to try it on, the first time I went dress shopping. Unfortunately, the dress was just wrong on me. So I had to mourn THE dress and move on. So, I wanted to create a post for other bees to post your dream dress VS your real dress. And tell why you ended up making the choice you made.
Here is my dream dress:

Dream Dress: ( I had 3, I’ll explain)
This dress is a Maggie Sottero, I LOVED the color, and the romance of the dress, but it is OLD, and I could only find knockoffs of it, also, most likely (If I got a new Maggie), WAY out of my price range
Belle: By Alfred Angelo.. I still regret not getting this dress, it’s elegant, and beautiful, and romantic… I’m not even gonna continue.. I failed to mention, she was almost double my budget (with veil)
Alfred Angelo 1708.. Reminded me of the Maggie dress, and it’s beautiful, stunning really, and very ME!
What I got:
I got 1708, and I love her, but I still lust after Belle.. Mind you she’s not steamed, and she just got to the shop when I got her, but, she’s very me, and shes PURPLE!

@goodgenie: I’m surprised how ‘unusual’ my dress is compared to everyone else’s .. even one of my dream dresses is nothing like the rest (Belle is…well… Belle)

@hiroshymatetrastar: I have to say I LOVE the first Maggie Sottero dress (with the red). But I also think you made the right choice with your dress. It seems to fit your personality.
