@ellebeerob:  I was pretty much the same way although I couldn’t admit it even to myself until way after we found out the gender. We (especially DH) wanted a girl so I convinced myself it would be a boy to avoid the disappointment. I had done such a good job convincing myself that I was actually a little sad I would not be getting my son…

Man, just goes to show how fickle I can be….lol

oh btw…if it’s not clear, we are having a girl!

Oh I was 100% confident that we were having a boy, and that is definitely not the case! Team pink for us!

I was 100% convinced we were having a girl.

We had a boy, lol. When he came out and DH said “It’s a boy! We have a son Honeybee!” (we were Team Green) I was shocked. My first thought was “huh, I thought you’d be a girl!” (My second thought was “Wow, you’re huge!”–Mom of the year right here, lol).

I was 100% convinced we were having a boy – I only looked at boy names, boy bedding, boy clothes because I had the “feeling” ..I about fell out of the exam chair when she said GIRL!

For some reason right when I found out I was pregnant I thought it was a boy.  Then I had a dream that it was a girl and everyone else thought it was a girl.  That’s when I started thinking it was a girl.  Then I had another dream that it was a boy right before my gender reveal and it was!

My gut has said boy all along. If we’re lucky, I’ll find out at Monday’s early gender scan. Fingers crossed!
