What are 3 words you would use to describe your daily style? And what 3 words would you use to describe your wedding day look?
I’ll go first: My every day looks typically change a lot depending on the event and mood I’m in, but typically I would be described as hippy-ish, comfortable, and edgy (I’m definitely one that gets told “you can totally pull that off” when I try new things or mix and match patterns or colors.)
For my wedding day, the image I’m going for is 40s hollywood glam, vintage, and modern. Try those opposite descriptions on for size. I’m planning on having a lot of vintage styled pieces (mermaid dress, bows, satin, pearls, and birdcage veil) I’m also doing peep toe shoes and a cat eye with a red lip, but I also plan to have a modern twist on my hair and my dress has some modern yet vintage design about it.
Now you go… 🙂

Haha thanks guys. My main goals when I get dressed are to a)not show up to work naked and b)not show up to work wearing something inside out.

@MissBoPeep: This is why I wear classic, tailored suits each day. Roll out of bed, put on a suit and blouse, slip on heels, and walk out the door. Takes me about 5 minutes. 😉

@MrsLulu: If I showed up to work in a suit and heels I’m pretty sure my coworkers would drop dead! My office is super casual lol. 🙂

Hip, City Chic/ Classic, Combined with boho/ hippie. It really is possible!
When I had dreads I wore expensive silk dresses and tailored jcrew blazers. I like to do what is unexpected. I like wearing expensive jeans with a cheap ripped tshirt. I’m rebellious. At all times I like being slightly alternative. I like classic things, but keep it alternative; vintage dresses with a motocycle jacket, a wrap dress and an army coat… for everyday wear I like boho tops with 70s style jeans.

Weekend: casual, comfortable, put together- jeans and tee shirts, but everything fits and is clean and simple.
Wedding: vintage, classic, feminine- lace dress, little bling, simple silhouette, cathedral veil, minimal jewelry and accessories.

Sh*t, Shower, Shave.
Not really, that was just something my dad always used to say when he was going upstairs to get ready for the day.
