Birth Control!!!

Don’t pack it in your checked bag. It will make you a sad panda when your airline loses your luggage. Seriously.

Fun thread!  I think I’ve been spending too much time thinking about the details of the wedding and not enough time daydreaming about my honeymoon 🙂

I’m a big overpacker but I’d say the most important things I know I’ll bring to Cancun are: lots of bikinis, bathing suit cleaner, a couple skirts, a couple sundresses, comfy flip flops, wedge sandals, sunglasses, tank tops/beaters, shorts, a pair of sneakers, nice lingerie, my iPod, a couple books, and condoms.

We forgot a watch on our honeymoon. Neither of us brought one, so we had to buy one. And an extra pair of sunglasses is smart, my husband lost his about 2 seconds into the honeymoon b/c he leaned over our balcony with them on.

But Ive bought me swim suits and FI swim suits, I have Rompers, dresses, beaters, tanks, halters, sandals, tennis, all I have let to get is the sunscreen and a few pairs of shorts and were ready to go lol and were still 3 months away lol

Haven’t been honeymooning yet, but Fiance and I have taken several vacas together and these are some must-haves:

-Sunscreen (I pack a lot ’cause I work in derm and will reapply to both of us like crazy…I get the spray kind too so that I can sneakily spray Fiance when he’s not paying attention)

-Small folding cooler and can koozies for drinks

-Towel clips for lounge chairs (found them at Bed Bath and Beyond)

-Aloe Gel and Burn Gel (in case of unsuspecting sunburn)

-Waterproof “wallet” (you can get these in a boat supply store or at many destinations..they are hard plastic cases that can hold IDs, credit cards, and cash and you can take them in the ocean or pool, if needed)

-Coupons!!  (Sounds funny, but last time we went to the Carribbean, I printed out coupons from the Internet to some restaurants and it saved us a lot of money)

-Eyeliner and lip gloss…I don’t wear that much makeup on vacation, so this is usually all I need!

Sunscreen and aloe vera. Nothing is worse than a sunburn on your honeymoon!
