I’ve always been a sports fan because of my dad. We used to fly all over the us for games. I’m very into football (like college better) and NBA. Can definitely do without baseball and so can he. But that was my dads favorite behind hockey haha. Me and Fiance are always talking about sports. He says he is very lucky. His friends think so as well haha.

Blake griffin is my favorite and some people think Fiance kinda looks like him.

We go to UGA so we’re obviously huge college football fans. We’re about to freeze our ass off tonight and I couldn’t be more excited about it.

I know tons about American football, baseball, and hockey.  I know the sports inside out.  I follow the Ravens (football), Flyers (hockey) and NY Mets (baseball).

My ex was a it put “off” that I knew so much about sports and challenged him with it a couple of times.  He didn’t like to be wrong, especially about football, as he was the person who intorduced me to football.  But he was on occasion – he was just a little twit who couldn’t handle ever making mistakes.

No other man in my life made me feel anything but awesome that I knew and could carry on a conversation about sports.

sweetis:  Baseball and yes, many guys like to talk sports with me. They better not think it is “cute” because I know more about baseball than 95% of them.

Im a sports junkie. I am a guru on basketball, baseball and football (the big 3), but football is my favorite. I know the basics of golf and my SO is obsessed with futbol (soccer), so ive gotten more interested in that too. After all soccer is the most popular sport in the entire world!! except here in the United States where we are just out of the loop.. but i was pleased to see all the attention the world cup got this past summer. Going to a world cup final and the superbowl is on my bucket list

ETA: these are my teams. Pittsburgh Steelers, NY Yankees (America’s team..we miss you Captain!), & BAsketball I dont have a team I just enjoy competitive games. Soccer my teams are ManU and Arsenal (I kno contradiction lol). my SO loves that Im into sports, I think thats why we are such good friends.. the first thing he ever told me when we first started talking was “I found a woman who loves football as much as I do, Im gonna marry you”. We both laughed and i didnt take it seriously but years later we are on our way to that. It also helps that he is A Philadelphia Eagles fan so we always talk shit to one another about who runs PA.

Oh I love sports!!!! Fiance works with them, so I definitely became a lot more interested. I love the Miami Heat, The Colts, Federer, Nadal and Djokavic (all tennis players), Serena Williams, and I’ve come to start enjoying The Cards (baseball). Football and Tennis are definitely my favorite. I know a lot about all these sports, minus baseball. I live for Football season, though! 🙂

mckey430:  Big question – could you ever be with a Red sox fan? I really only follow baseball (Yankees!) but I liked watching the World Cup. I think I could get into soccer (or for those of you outside the US, futbol)

I love sports!  I follow baseball, football, & some basketball.  I grew up around all of it my entire life [thanks, Dad] so it’s almost like a second nature hobby.  It was important to me when dating that my SO was also interested in sports.  Lucky for me, my Darling Husband lives, loves, & breathes sports!  We enjoy going to games, even if it’s just the local minor league hockey games to the playoff Angels games or the Super Bowl at the bar ..that’s solid quality time we both thrive on!

I love to play sports, but I know absolutely nothing about professional sports. Like, less than nothing. I’m just not interested! 🙂

I used to be really into baseball. I’m still a Red Sox fan, but I haven’t really followed it in the past few years (especially since I moved out of the northeast). I hate football, but I will watch the superbowl. My least favorite is basketball, I’d rather watch paint dry, I just can’t stand it. I do like hockey, but I don’t really follow any teams. Luckily, Fiance isn’t really into sports so I don’t get stuck watching it on TV. I do enjoy going to games occasionally though.

Learned to appreciate major league baseball as a kid, and I still love it.

About football, I am pretty clueless

Both Fiance and I are not really into sports, so I know very little about it. However, sports are a big deal where I live, so I do keep up with the scores of the locally popular teams.

I’ve always been a sports junkie. I grew up obsessed with the Braves and each summer growing up, I would actually keep score in one of the “professional” scorebooks of every game. Loved marking all the balls/strikes and recording the plays.

Now, real life has gotten in the way a bit, but I still love watching whenever I can. I’m not all that into pro sports other than the MLB and NHL — for the rest (namely, football and basketball), I much prefer college sports and watch all my alma mater’s games.

I am an avid fan of NFL football and have followed it since I was a child, so I know a great deal about that sport. I also enjoy watching some other sports, but I would not say that I am knowledgeable about the others.
