Yikes.. I feel ridiculous saying this but The Shining.

If I’m not feeling that one in particular, I love Beetlejuice or National Lampoons European Vacation. Anything Hitchcock or Friday the 13th movies (1-7).

Any Disney movie, but my #1, all-time favorite is Beauty and the Beast.

If I’m in a more “grown up mood” (lol), I go for Love Actually, Pride and Prejudice, Music & Lyrics, or my Sex & the City DVDs.

You’ve Got Mail is definitely mine. Favorite movie of all time!

I can also watch The Family Stone, Love Actually and Something’s Gotta Give over and over.

Mine is uber-nerdy as it’s an anime film, but the Revolutionary Girl Utena movie. There is nothing that lift my spirit like that film, and it makes me cry every single time.

But I also have a really, really strange habit of requiring noise when I’m at home, so there’s always something on. Once, when I was living overseas, I left the Silent Hill movie on loop on my DVD player for like……… three weeks. Whenever my mom would call me she would be all, “what is that ungodly screaming?! Is everything okay over there?!” Hahah. I think it was just having English spoken that helped relax me, not Pyramid Head or anything…

Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya’s
Platoon
Pride and Prejudice
Sisterhood of the traveling pants

I had a rough time a few years ago and would watch the Ya yas and traveling pants all day.  My dad walks in from work and yells “Please no more Ya ya pants” lol.

@nerdybird:  I was going to say the same thing! Bridget Jones is my go to.
