@littlemisst08: Pride and Prejudice, the BBC 5-hr version… always watch it when I’m sick at home.
Also, The Princess Bride
I never tire of watching The Iron Giant. I also remain a fan of Nightmare Before Christmas, but watching it outside of the Christmas season just feels weird, and I refuse to aknowledge that holiday until December.
Love Actually, Princess Bride, Labyrinth, The LOTR trilogy, anything Miyazaki especially My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away
And above all else, the BBC miniseries version of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy from 1981.
Clue. Not Clueless. Clue, as in Mrs. Peacock (Mrs Peacock was a man?!) in the conservatory with the candlestick. I’ve known every line since the late 80s and it still makes me feel warm and fuzzy whenever I put it on.
Funny ones always cheer me up. Some that always crack me up are Get Him To The Greek, Role Models, Clerks 2, and Dogma.
Not a movie, but I will put on Parks and Rec when I need to cheer up as well. I think I’ve watched all the seasons so far like four or five times haha
