- Wedding: February 2013 - Mansion House at the MD Zoo
I’m bored at work–let’s entertain each other!
What is the craziest fear you have about wedding planning or your wedding day? I’m talking something you know is ridiculous but you still worry about it.
Mine is that somehow we’ll screw up the paperwork and won’t be legally married. Then we’ll have to go to the courthouse a couple weeks later and we’ll have two anniversaries and I won’t know which one is real.
C’mon bees, show me how nutty you are! 🙂

@soontobeMrsBoo: That is a little crazy!
That someone will ruin my dress the day of, a certain family member causing drama and me or my mom not enjoying the day.

I keep having the same wedding nightmare. It’s the day of and I have forgotten to do everything. We have no decorations, my dress was never altered, fiance forgot to get his tux, we don’t have a dj.
Ugh, I wish I could just relax.
As for a legit fear, I’m worried that no one will have fun. That’s really all I care about.

This is sooooooooo superficial but I’m terrified my hair and make-up won’t look good. LOL
Second to me looking good (hahaha!) is my fear that guests won’t have a good time.

Either tripping or looking ugly, getting a huge zit on my face or back.

I used to have nightmares that I’d somehow not have a dress or that I’d forget my dress somewhere far from where I was getting ready (this didn’t happen).
I also had a fear that someone would hug me and spill red wine all over my dress during the reception – but no one did!

I’m afraid that I won’t be able to relax enough to have a good time. Hopefully, having a DOC will help with that.

We are having a destination wedding so I dont have to worry about a lot but I keep having a nightmare that were so hot and swelled up in Jamaica that FI’s ring doesnt fit him (because thats an actual fear of mine) and then we cant get married because in Jamaica the ring is what the wedding revolves around and without the ring there is no wedding. eeek I would cry in real life too if his ring doesnt fit during the ceremony, laugh later but cry at the time haha

All of my wedding fears are totally plausible – torrential rain, cake falling over, absolutely 0 sun (I’m fine with overcast, but I like a little intermittent sun), crappy food (not totally plausible because our caterer is awesome, but you never know), getting way too drunk, and someone getting upset that we have port-a-potties.

Mostly I am nervous that it will rain because we are having an outdoor ceremony and I want outdoor pictures. We are having it in late october so there is a chance, but who can control the weather? I just wish I was an evil villian with a weather alteration device.
O well 🙂

I keep on having nightmares that Future Sister-In-Law will take the microphone off of the DJ and announce that she is pregnant.
Looking horrible in my dress, my dress not coming together, looking “fat” in pics (vain much?) having awkward moments in the ceremony

That our weather will suck, i will swell so much on the flight to Paris that i wont be able to walk, that my french will fail me mid ceremony, I will look at photos later and think I look ridiculous (not fat, not ugly, just costumey)
Youre making me nervous!!!

That no one will dance. It will just be my husband and I alone on the dance floor.

Not to be able to fit in my wedding dress because I gained pounds. Omg that terrifies me! And also that it rains on my wedding since it will be a beach wedding and I am not planning to have a back up plan….
