I think it would be going out to see some christmas lights where he would do it and then going to a nice dinner. Hopefully he says a little something and we both are dressed up a little bit. idk something about christmas lights feels magical and christmas is the best time to be with someone you love. Although frankly all I care about is the man I’m marrying And would love whatever he did πŸ™‚

My dream proposal would be in front of all of our friends at a party!

We all get together pretty often, usually once a week or so, and we do big parties for holidays like Halloween and New Years, and sometimes our casual parties become a big party because we all have so much fun! We are planning on hosting a NYE party this year, but I know he won’t do it then because he’s waiting for his tax return money to have enough for a ring (I’m fine with this!).

My dream proposal would be while everyone is together, having a great time, and he calls for all of their attention, gives everyone a short speech about how much he loves me, etc., then asks me and everyone goes nuts!

I won’t have to tell everyone personally because they’ll be there, I can immediately show off my bling, and then we can party hardy with all of our friends in celebration! πŸ™‚

It doesn’t matter to me if it happens this way or not, but I feel like this is what he’d want to do anyways because he likes to be romantic while we’re out together, and I think that’s how it will happen! I just have to make sure my outfit is on point for every party from now on lol

snowysaku:  Totally agree with you, Christmas just makes everything feel so magical (I’ve been watching way too many hallamrk movies haha)

Mine would be a private proposal (just the two of us- no family/friends watching).  I would love him to get down on his knee and tell me a million romantic things and then end with will you marry me.

I would be humiliated if he asked me in front of family/friends. i would feel so much pressure from them watching me! just seems really unromantic (to me!)

I’m hoping it happens this weekend when we visit chicago!

My absolute dream proposal is being in Canon Beach, Oregon on a short vacation. We would spend the day like any other normal day just checking out cute shops, getting some coffee, having a nice lunch, exploring haystack rock and then taking a walk on the beach around a late afternoon time.

It would be my dream that he would propose on the beach close to the water (not too close where we get wet and swept away!) and then finish off the day with a fire on the beach and a bottle of wine. It would be an added bonus if my family happened to be there to celebrate after as a surprise and if someone could get pictures of the whole thing.

The reason why thats my dream proposal is because when I was little my family and I were at the coast and a guy proposed to his girlfriend on the beach and my dad happened to have a camera and caught everything! So that’s been my dream ever since.

I seriously do not care. Do not care in the slightest.

With my ex-H the proposal and ring was so important to me. With SO, none of it matters. Him proposing would make me the happiest woman in the world doesn’t matter how, or where or with what ring.

I did get my dream proposal (migraine aside). It was at home just the two of us. It was perfect.

At the one year mark of him proposing to me, I proposed to him and I wrote “marry me?” with tea lights in our living room and proposed with a pebble (like penguins do).

It was super cheesy. He cried.

I’m incredibly lucky in that I actually got my dream proposal. I don’t know how my Darling Husband knew because I never told him, or anybody about it. My Darling Husband and I, as well as pretty much all of our social circle, are really into music. Although I hate the word, we’re basically “hipsters”. Last year we were at a show with a band we both have loved for a long time when the band suddenly put down their instruments and walked off stage. My Darling Husband walked up to the stage and then onstage where he proceeded to tell the crowd how much he loved me and then call me to the stage. He got down on one knee and proposed right there on stage! It was even better than how I’d imagined, because in my fantasy we were just in the crowd. The band came back on and played my favorite song. When I got offstage random stranger were hugging me. A lot of our friends were there and we got quite a few pictures of the proposal. Up until the actual wedding it was the happiest day of my life. A little side bonus, my ex who cheated with my best friend was in the audience that night

I just want it to be us. I’d be so happy if we are sitting at home or making dinner in our kitchen or something. I’m not a huge fan of over the top public proposals. We could spend the rest of our day drinking champagne and calling our friends and family. Just us πŸ™‚

I had this super cute idea a little while ago, and told him so he definitely can’t use it XD

I’ve always liked the idea of a restaurant proposal – not making a scene or anything – but something really personal and intimate while still being in a public place.

We’re really nerdy as well and often go to comic conventions (started dating at one!) – I make costumes for it and he does the photography side.

So combining the two ideas, i thought we’d go to a meal after the convention had ended for the day and he’d have his camera from taking photos. He’d suggest I look through the photos so far – which I enjoy doing normally – and then some way through there’d be photos with just a single word in “will” “you” “marry” “me” and then maybe the ring.

The only downside is I’d potentially be so excited I’d drop and break our really expensive camera XD I really wish I was proposing to myself though wah – I know exactly what I want! Lol

I know my gf isn’t near proposing but I’d love to be proposed to this NYE. I picture the coundown starting and her just getting down on one knee. She’s super romantic and says sweet stuff to me all the time so I don’t really need words during the proposal, I’d just say yes! Then we’d kiss  right when the ball drops.

I also like the idea of being proposed to at dinner in a crowded restaurant. I want everyone to see haha.
