The Chiken Dance song! That song just plain creeps me out and is super annoying!

I CANNOT STAND the “You know you make me wanna SHOUT” song!  It is soooo irritating to me, I don’t know why.  I think it’s corny and terrible!

We banned any “Prince or the artist formally known as or whatever he is going by these days” songs!  I just can’t stand his music.  And we didn’t want any group dancing songs.  My mom was the only person who could veto our rule.  I said “if she requests it, then you can play it!”

We outlawed any and all songs that contain instructions on HOW to dance (I believe these are considered “group dances”??). There will be no “sliding to the left” at my wedding 🙂

Also on the do not play list is anything by Rihanna.

“I Touch Myself” by the Divinyls. At a friend’s wedding a few years back, I told the groom (my friend) I wanted one dance with him sometime during the reception. Well, guess which one he decided to drag me out to dance to. I’m protesting, he’s close to drunk and his wife is shooting me daggers. First time I’ve ever self-enforced the 12-inch rule while dancing.

They’re (most likely) invited along with some other people who were present so I’m not giving anyone the chance to try and do the same thing to me.

And weirdly enough, I’m actually for any group dance songs. They were my favorite at high school dances and past weddings. I’m not a dancer so I’m fine with someone telling me exactly what to do 🙂

No LMFAO…or group dances…or any cheesy party songs (like “SHOUT!,” “We are Family,” “Celebration,” etc.)
