@Ms. Sea Lion: Um I think I just puked in my mouth a little.

I don’t do gravy, and I don’t care for any thing resembling jell-o.

Mr.ND and I had a 5 minute fight about gravy today. Dang it, I thought this would be the first Thanksgiving it never came up! Hahaha.

I have Celiac so I can’t eat a thing at my future mother in law’s.

Everything at my aunt’s is in question. EVERYTHING. She has a particular flair (think Martha Stewart gone horribly awry).

My mom is the most amazing cook ever. But I hate stuffing with a passion. The texture just throws me off. Never was a big fan of pumpkin pie or pecan pie, either. Plus the Girlfriend versions are never that great.

Love real cranberry sauce. Love sweet potatoe & mashed potatoes & gravy. Turkey has to be made juuuuuust right.

My mom has started making this corn cassarole that everybody but me LOVES… then again I hate corn as a main ingrediant so… I just don’t eat it. She knows it and it doesn’t bother her one bit.

@indibee: haha! funny story about gravy.

I’m dating a very picky eater and for our 3rd or so Thanksgiving at my parents house (I was still living at home) he had some mashed potatoes and turkey on his plate… sans gravy. I asked him if he wanted any gravy and he just whipped his head to look at me and with a very straight, serious, almost appalled face, said to me “do.i.like.gravy?”

At the time everyone was like WTF? But now it’s just funny. Whenever I ask him to try new foods (and he does nowadays) we always joke and say “do I like gravy?”

Turnips, squash, sweet potatoes… yuck. This year Fiance and I are not celebrating with the whole family so I can avoid those dishes without offending anyone- we just won’t make them!

Brussel sprouts and lima beans. I was always made to ‘just try some’ and I gagged on them then and still do now. I vowed never to make my kids go through the same thing. No sprouts and beans on MY Thanksgiving table!
