Ace of base!
Ace of base!
@Twyla_Smith: I’m going to the BSB concert this summer too! My friend is coming with me and we’re totally jazzed!
My first CD was Celine Dion’s Falling into You (we sang “Because You Loved Me” in chorus in 3rd grade, so my parents got me the cd for my 9th birthday lol)
This was followed by: Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys!
Pretty sure I ordered six from BMG music and never paid for them, I think I was 13. The only two I remember are Dr. Dre The Chronic and Bob Marley’s greatest hits.
Hootie and the blowfish- cracked rear view!
I’m pretty sure it was Now 4. Either that or Britney Spear’s Baby One More Time. I also had all the N’SYNC ones and Hanson ones but I’m not sure when I got those 🙂
I bought two at one time: Tom Petty “Wildflowers” and the Reality Bites soundtrack. I was a pretty cool 4th grader.
First ones I got for Christmas with my CD player and they were Bush Sixteen Stone, Rancid ….And Out Come the Wolves, and Silverchair Frogstomp.
Aerosmith Get a Grip.
My first cassette was Whitney Houston – it came free with a nightgown my mom bought me at Sears. My first cd was ‘The Sign’ by Ace of Base.
I honestly can’t remember what my very first CD was … Probably something by Michael Jackson, as I was a huge fan when I was a young kid. My mom got me a CD player when I was pretty young (around 6 or 7, I believe), so I started getting CDs at a very young age.
I’m old school and still love having actual CDs. I have tons of them on a bookshelf now, and I’m always adding to the collection.
Hanson’s Middle of Nowhere.
