@littlecat: OMG they make those?! Every time I babysit my niece and we put her in those, I wish they came in adult sizes. Where can you get them??

FH did all his shopping at CVS pharmacy (I say shaking my head).  The poor man tries so hard and fails so well in the gift giving department.  He lets me handle all the shopping except for me.  Christmas night we had some friends over and I was shopping online for earings for our wedding, he just handed me his credit card and told me to buy whatever I wanted.  Kissed me on the forehead and really looked sad as he knew (even though I tried to act excited) I hated his stupid gift.  God bless him, and I love the fact that he really puts heart into it, but the gift giving thing is so new to him he just has no clue.

A garbage disposal from the ILs, and an exhaust fan/light for our bathroom from my parents.  I love that I can get what I want for the house and not have to spend money on it! Oh, and my sister got me stemless wine glasses and a wine preserver that I’ve wanted for a while πŸ™‚  And I bought myself some Aerosoles – 3 pairs!!!!!

My dad totally surprised me and got me a full size poker table πŸ™‚  We’ve already hosted a game and I’m so happy to have my own table!

Fiance got me a really pretty watch and it has Citizen Eco-Drive on it so there’s no expensive batteries to replace, and my aunt and uncle gave us a $150 gift certificate to a local spa chain so me and Fiance can have a spa day before the wedding–very excited about that!

Wow, you guys all sound like you had an epic Christmas!

My favourite gift… my mum got me some nice perfume.  It’s not expensive, but it smells really citrusy lovely and is very “me”.  She picked it well.

My BF – useless gift buyer I have to say, honestly.  Always buys me things I say I don’t want. I got a book I told him I didn’t want.  And I got him a really expensive thing for his xbox I knew he wanted!  To be honest, I would have been happy with just a call or txt on Christmas day πŸ™ I still haven’t heard from him!

Having my partner home on Christmas without a single call out (for on call duty) was the BEST gift.  Materialistically speaking, it is a toss up between the canvas painting  he got stretched for me and the Wacom Bamboo.

Fi got me 3 new bras from Victoria’s Secret and a bunch of undies – it was the best gift ever.  My bras were crap, and I just could never bring myself to spend that kind of money on them considering no one really sees them, lol.  Well, let me tell you, if you have been wearing crappy target bras for the past decade and then you get a biofit bra life is just better in general!

And my other favorite, though it wasn’t actually a Christmas present, was a ring that was my Grandmother’s.  She died about a year and a half ago, and I never got a chance to go “pick something out” since I no longer live close to my family.  So when we were celebrating at my Mom’s house my grandfather brought up all that was left of her jewelry for me to pick.  I adore this ring.  I’m going to get it appraised, but we’re pretty sure it’s aquamarine and then diamonds on the side.  It now lives on my right hand (I feel more symmetrical with a ring on both hands).  And I think it might be my “something blue” for my wedding.  These pictures don’t come close to doing it justice, but here she is:

Oh, and it’s on my middle finger, you can’t really tell from the pictures.  And after seeing how horrendous those cell phone pics are, I’m going to go home tonight and take better pictures with an actual camera to post, hahahahaha.
