T shirt and shorts. I knew that day he was going to propose but thought it was going to be at dinner (he suggested we go somewhere super nice) and had an outfit picked out and everything for the occasion. I tried on so many outfits and felt confident with my choice too and was going to change before we went to dinner.

He ended up proposing earlier than I thought before I had had the chance to change haha. Oh well, my outfit went with my ring well that night.. so it worked out!

Jacket, jeans and flats, a little bit of makeup. We were in Taiwan meeting his parents and family for the first time. We left his parents house that morning to meet His cousin and aunt across town for lunch and he said “wear something nice” (it was a super casual trip and we only took one piece of luggage for the two of us for two weeks So we didn’t bring anything fancy). I was taken vy total suprise as we talked about getting engaged in about a year; I didn’t think he had the money for it but turned out while I was at work he was working with a friend doing construction for cash in order to pull it off

we were taking a picture with his parents and then took one just the two of us and then he said “now one like this” and got down on one knee.  My initial reaction to him was “what are you doing?!”   he still brings it up and laughs about it

beemyhandsome:  That’s exactly how his proposal went! Lol! We did a six mile hike to a lookout next to a lighthouse and he had written on a lock will you marry me? He proposed and we locked the lock on the fence and snapped a few pictures. Luckily it was breezy and I want drenched in sweat! But was rocking a grungy tee, no makeup, and sweaty windblown hair. It was perfect. =)

Snowboots, leggings, an oversized sweater, and no makeup (ew). It was snowing pretty hard that day and I had gone out anyway, and he asked me before I got a chance to change clothes. I had always hoped I would look cute during the proposal, but I really didn’t and it was perfect anyway.

During most of the date he proposed on, we were at my place and I was in a tee shirt and panties.  We later joked about love being a workout so when he actually proposed I just wore my sports bra!

I was in a cute dress, but since we were outdoors in -5C weather it was covered by a big puffy jacket. And I was in ear muffs and gloves. I probably looked like a big puffy marshmallow but that’s ok. I didn’t even take my gloves off when he proposed, he had to say “take your glove off so I can put the ring on!!” Lol.

We had been hiking for 6 miles and I had no idea it was coming that day. I was definitely not “How He Asked” ready lol. I wouldn’t have it any other way though. This is us!

Yoga capris and a tank top. It was the middle of summer and we were at the waterfront biking.

Blundstones, jeans, poofy vest, scarf and mittens… and a toque I think? Nothing super nice, but not in my sweatpants!

We were leaving an overnight stay at the beach so I was wearing a low key tank dress and flip flops. My hair wasn’t washed, I wasn’t wearing make up. It wasn’t a super cute proposal either! Haha. But it’s a great marriage! ; )

He proposed at his family’s Christmas Eve party after we had gone to mass, so I was dressed pretty nicely. Simple black piko style dress, black tights, black wedge booties, cream faux fur vest, hair and makeup done. I’d have been mad if he did it when I wasn’t looking cute lol.

It was really cold that night so I was bundled up. I had on a hat, big black faux fur coat, jeans and my favorite Christmas sweater that Fiance hates.
