I was wearing a blue and white striped t-shirt dress and flip flops. I did actually do my hair that morning and a little makeup, but my nails weren’t done. I had no idea it was coming, but truth be told I wouldn’t have cared what I was wearing! Haha He made dinner reservations for that night so I did get to get a little more dressed up that night!

I love all these “all natural” stories with the Bees in their pajamas or messy hair. That’s so real! Love it!

One of my favorite dresses, long black cardigan and heeled boots.

It was an all day thing, so I knew it was going to happen and was able to dress up.

Last September on my birthday on the side of Cinderella’s castle. He was going to propose at 11:11 because that’s a very signficant time of day for us ( Wedding date this year as well.) But the park closed at 11pm. I was wearing my Mickey and Minnie t shirt and my only response was OMG

I knew it was coming, especially because he asked my parents to go as well.  And he wouldn’t let me hold our backpack at all that day being very secretive. He was acting weird.

And that’s it.

Bathing suit lol. In some of the pictures I looked like Gollum, but we were swimming in a waterfall. My icon picture was just before he asked and it’s my favorite of us. I knew it was coming, but didn’t think it’d be just then. I couldn’t ask for a better way ๐Ÿ™‚

We were both a bit dressed up as I was told we were going to a nice restaurant downtown to celebrate a friend’s birthday.  I had on my favorite little black dress with a pair of wedge sandals that gave me a very bad blister.  My Fiance had on a pair of nice khakis and a button down shirt.  He proposed on the lakefront then we went to the restaurant where all our friends were waiting for an impromptu engagement party.

It was a rather humid night so I hated how my hair looked because I had taken the time to curl it and the curls completely fell out.  By the end of the night it wound up in a pony tail which is very typical of me.

littlemogwai :  We were home all by ourselves (well, our pup was there), and I was in old, comfy pajama bottoms and his t-shirt, stressed out doing homework in bed. No makeup, hair piled in a bun on top of my head, glasses, the works, lol.  And nails were definitely not done bc I can’t have cute nails in nursing school.  No regrets whatsoever.  I had been wanting to get engaged for awhile but he completely managed to surprised me and I bawled the whole time and for about an hour after!!! So I was glad I didn’t have makeup!  It was the sweetest, most intimate moment, and I can still get teary if I think about it a lot! LOL

I was wearing an over sized nintendo shirt and baggy pajama bottoms. It was our first Christmas in our new place and he went out and got a tree and everything and decorated while I was sleeping. He proposed in front of the tree that morning. My nails were done, though. lol

I looked rough but I was so happy. ๐Ÿ™‚

I was wearing black basketball shorts, a black hoodie, and black running shoes. Fiance likes to tell me that I looked like I was about to go rob a Burger King.

He told me we were going on a jog around the park, and I certainly don’t jog in a three-piece suit. I don’t know what he expected.

I was wearing dark wash skinny jeans, tall black boots, a dark sweater, short dark grey trench coat, purple and grey animal print scarf, dark grey hat, and had recently taken black gloves off (was eating popcorn, so I had freezing salty buttery fingers). Makeup and hair were done in the morning, but this was about 10 hours later. He had on jeans, sneakers, a dark long sleeve button up with grey sweater vest, black coat, black hat, black scarf and black gloves.

He did it on our trip to Paris last November. We were spending a few days at Disneyland Paris at the start of our trip and he did it the first night at the Disneyland Paris park. We are big Disney fans. It was completely unexpected. I had given up wishing/thinking it was going to happen awhile ago because we had been together so long.

My nails were just painted an almost clear iridescent.

This is my freezing hand (sleeve of trench coat peeking into frame) and new shiny ring taken maybe an hour after he proposed. Picture is taken against a railing on the Swiss Family Treehouse when we realized we should probably snap a picture to text home.

Such a fun thread topic!

We were in New York and I thought we were getting dinner, so I had a black dress and heeled boots and my fave Katherine hooker cashmere coat! And I had my makeup done. I’m a little vain so quite happy about this all tbh lol
