My husband proposed to me by dragging me out on a ridiculously cold day To hike our favorite trail! So I was wearing wool lined leggings, duck boots, and about ten layers of jackets haha! Turns out he was so hell bent on this hike despite the weather because it was the only day off we would have together for another three weeks and it happened to be our anniversary, and he had planned the whole day out! It was totally perfect in it’s own weird way ❤

My FH proposed on the same day we had met two years ago. It was a tradition of ours to go back to the spot we had met. I was not feeling good that whole week and almost told him we shouldn’t go. I am thought I hope he doesn’t propose tonight because I felt so bloated and uncomfortable. Of course he ended up proposing but in the moment I didn’t even think about my apprenece lol. I had on a simple teal dress and black heels.

I was wearing a  cotton printed skirt, a henley over a tank top and flats.

I had no idea it was coming.  It was our (7th) anniversary and we were at an escape room with some friends.  I had dressed cute but comfy because I didn’t know exactly what to expect from an escape room, but it was also our anniversary so I had to try a bit lol.

For fun, he wore jeans with a suit coat and looked adorable. 🙂

No idea it was coming. We were hiking and dressed for the occasion. My nails weren’t done. I wouldn’t change a thing 🙂

I was far from ‘picture-ready’. I was wearing an old baggy t-shirt and my favorite pj pants. It was a lazy Saturday at home and he just decided the time was right so he popped the question right there in our bedroom. We did go out for a celebratory lunch the next day and I made sure to dress up for that, don’t worry!

My little brother was going to prom so I dressed in a cute romper and heeled booties to take a picture with him, little did I know that later that night my now fiancé would propose! He led me into my grandparents backyard where there was a lit pathway up to their gazebo decorated in white lights. Our dog was waiting there with the ring. It was perfect…except I have really curly hair and it was raining that day so the humidity kind of took over but I wouldn’t change a thing!

I was dressed up as a bride (lol – he proposed on Halloween, right before I put my makeup on to transform from bride to zombie bride).

Oh my god, not even joking I was at my most hideous. I had been sick with full-blown flu and missed a week of work. Finally, on the 8th day of being at home, I felt well enough to go out for a short walk for fresh air. Of course I was sick and miserable and tired so no makeup, didn’t brush my hair (thank god I showered), and had the gross bloated red flu face. He did it on our walk.

In retrospect if he wanted to marry me at that moment, when I’m at my worst, it is actually quite romantic and I have no complaints 🙂

Bahah I had just arrived home from work and all I wanted was to change into comfy clothes.  So, my dress pants were unbottoned and I had already taken my shirt off so I just had on a tank top.  Basically, I was half dressed.

Fiance was trying to get me to sit still long enough to propose when he finally tackled me on to our bed and popped the question.

Not romantic, not mushy.  Totally hysterical.
