We had a big brunch, so I think we’re having taco salad for dinner.

Mmmm milkshake! I’d so eat that for dinner if Darling Husband weren’t here…haha

I have super simple “Mexican chili” in the crockpot. 5 ingredients!

Ground beef

1 can of Mexicorn

1 can of Blackbeans

1/2 cup picante salsa

1 packet taco seasoning

Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours 🙂

I’m pretty much anti-domestic, so recipes like this are what I live for!

Rice and ground beef simmering on the stove… oh wait, that’s for my sick doggie…. how about the KFC that is sitting next to me? oh wait, that’s my FI’s dinner. I don’t know what I am having for dinner tonight. sigh!

So far… 3/4 a piece of carrot cake.  Probably a piece of pizza… and some green beans.  I can only eat a little bit at once right now with my pregnancy nausea.

I wish I knew.

I think FH plans to surprise me, since he’s insisting on picking me up from work (hmmmm..) but I really don’t know.

@Ms.Pink:  mmm that sounds good.  I need some easy recipes so I might need to try that out.  And I sure love my crock pot.

Korean barbecue marinated flank steak in the crockpot, white rice, and sesame red peppers and brusselsprouts. So excited to be able to cook again after a week of takeout after the hurricane!

We are making stuffed grapeleaves (Sarma/Dolma/Dolmades depending on your family/country) with garlic yogurt and a green salad.

@Woodstock:  Same here, except I’m being even lazier and putting a frozen one in the oven.

We had slow-cooked leg of lamb in a ratatouille-style sauce with boiled local organic potatoes.

Tomorrow I’ve got three chicken breasts so I’ll be looking out for ideas!
