wildflowergypsy :  I bought a pair of earrings online that cost me $100… I live in New Zealand and had them sent from New York. When they arrived I realised they didn’t go with my dress and other accessories so ended up borrowing understated earrings from my mom. That’s the only waste I had thankfully.

teddserberry :  I love this.

Unfortunately my dressmaker didn’t allow as much room as I’d wanted in my dress, so my “wtf” purchase was about 4 different pairs of beige, overpriced, uncomfortable, stupid, spanx-type shapers. If I had known in advance I would have purchased one pair before my final fitting. But I ddn’t, so I had to buy every option available and see what worked under the dress.

These are some funny stories.

I’m annoyed that my fiancee insisted I buy things for 120 people attending our wedding when I knew that wouldn’t happen.  90% of his family has declined. As of right now we have 60. I could have saved a lot of money if I had listened to myself instead of him.
