I am so over the moon about how everything came together on the wedding day – all the planning was worth it! I truly love my wedding dress, jewelry, shoes, and other accessories. Which items are other bees planning to wear again? Bonus if you can post photos of you wearing them again! I hope to use my hair comb, bridal jewelry, shoes, and reception dress again. I’ve already sold my veil and hope to sell the dress (though if I could find a way to dye it and wear it again I would). Luckily I live in an area where there are a decent number of black tie events so I have more opportunity to use everything!

I wore turquoise jewelry and I love being able to rewear the pieces. I wear the bracelet once a week at least. Happy memories each time : )

I’ve worn my earrings again and also the flower clip that I wore with my veil. It’s purple and I often wear it when I have my hair in a bun and I’m wearing coordinating colors (which is often). I’d like to wear my wedding shoes again but haven’t yet. I’ve worn my wedding perfume several times since too.

I wear my shoes fairly often (but they were lace toms) and the jewelry some. If I knew it would hold the color I would love to chop my dress into tea length and dye it but it is polyester and most of the diy dyes aren’t for synthetic material.

I’m wearing my earrings right now. I’ve reworn all of my jewelry. The dress and the shoes are the only things I’ll probably never wear again.

- Wedding: February 2015 - Chapel on Base
Ladies, when I married my first time my mom made my wedding dress. After I left my ex I gave her my wedding box which included my wedding dress. She asked me what I wanted her to do with everything… I told her to burn it. lol. Anyways, she used RIT dye and dyed the dress black. It turned out awesome. The satin turned our a pewter/dark gray and the lace was black. It was gorgeous. She used it as a Halloween costume. Not saying you should we it for Halloween just saying you can dye it yourself. For the record, my mom isn’t making my dress this time. 🙂

lilchicana: haha I love this! Glad to see happens too. I love my dress and can’t wait to wear it once it’s altered for our wedding. Fiance said I had the dress budget of my choice with the only caveat being I needed to wear it again for him every year on our anniversary! lol Basically his insurance for me staying in shape forever 🙂

buttaflybride: haha, i told my husband something like that too! he wore his dress blues for our wedding and he just got out of the military in the spring, but i told him he needed to put that uniform on for me at least once a year.

I wore my shoes; however, they are just cute rose gold flats, nothing too fancy 🙂

I’ve worn my shoes. They were a pair of dressy flat sandals that I bought awhile ago, and decided to wear them for my wedding, so I’ve worn them tons of times since. I would have worn my hair clip again but the venue lost it.

To be honest the only item I have worn again is the underwear! They are the same style that I normally wear but nude.

Madden pumps – nude color. They can go with pretty much anything. I bought the black and red ones in the same style after the wedding because I liked them so much.
