I also judge IQ but not the way most people do.

I don’t judge people who naturally have a lower IQ, for being that way. It wasn’t their choice. And I have known several very kind people who did not have mind-boggling IQs.

I do, however, expect a lot from people I know to be above average IQ. Don’t tell me that you can get a PhD and be top of your field but you can’t figure out how to be a good and gracious person in your personal life, and give a lot back to the world, make it a better place. I don’t believe you can’t. And I will judge you if you won’t. I feel IQ is a form of power, and as with all forms of power, more of it = more responsibility.

I do differentiate between education/ignorance vs. high/low IQ, but I see it similarly: if you have never had a chance to learn something, I don’t judge you for not knowing it. If you have a lot of knowledge, you again have a form of a lot of power, and I expect more from you. I expect you will not use this power just to help yourself and your inner circle.

I judge people who jaywalk with their children and/or a stroller!  Also, I judge moms who have their child in one hand and a cigarette in the other. >.<

@legenwaitforitdary:  God, YES!  It is not that hard!  Don’t be a jerk, put it back!

I judge people who drive around crashed cars.  Own up and pay your deductible if it was your fault, or use the insurance money and fix it if it wasn’t!  Don’t just pocket it, your car looks like shit!

@QueenOfSerendip:  FREAKING EVERYONE.  But mostly I judge people’s handling of their money.

Like those that have 6 kids, shopping at Walmart with food stamps but have their nails did and an iPhone hanging out of their nicer than mine purse.

Most recently I judged a friend who at 3pm messaged me on Facebook and text asking for gas money to get to their new job so they don’t lose their apt. …. 7 hours later they’re posting about going out and drinking. YEAHHHH.

@QueenOfSerendip:  You just described all of my neighbors, especially the ones across the street who bicker (loudly) all the time and their fleet of young children.

If you don’t like ice cream,  I’m highly suspicious of you as a person.

I judge people for being ignorant bitches when they judge me for being fat.

I judge people with rich parents that buy everything for them. Drives me crazy when some snotty 17 year old comes in my store with a brand new expensive car that I know they couldnt afford themselves without robbing a bank. Or people on house hunting shows that are fresh out of high school and looking for a house in the 300k range with their parents backing them up to pay for it. Ridiculous.

I judge parents that spank their kids in public. But I also judge people who do not punish their kids in public. I’ve witnessed customers kids calling them names and screaming while the parents just stand there like nothing is wrong.

@legenwaitforitdary:  Same! I’ve actually been known to take carts right when the people that left them are still standing there and put them up.

I totally judge, although then I tell myself I shouldn’t when it happens, but I feel it’s warranted sometimes. I judge people who abandon their dogs to the pound/shelter, people who shop with food stamps and they’re buying lots of junk/candy/cigarettes, parents of continuously unruly/screaming kids who make no effort to stop them, slow drivers in the left lane, people who double dip, or have generally unsanitary public manners… I could go on.

I judge people who are wasteful. Don’t recycle (if it’s available), throw away half the food they buy, throw away perfectly good clothes and household items instead of giving them away.

Of course I also judge myself because I take 30 min showers every other day. I just don’t see how you can wash your hair and body properly in 5-10 min.

I also judge germaphobes…especially the ones who pee all over public toilet seats because they think they will catch clamidya if they sit their butt down.

@QueenOfSerendip:  I judge people who think everyone who is poor deserves it, I judge the hell out if every casually racist/sexist/homophoobic son of a bitch I can, I judge people who waste food and energy, I judge peole who watch Honey Boo Boo and laugh because OMG AREN’T THE POOR PEOPLE SO FUNNY?!, I judge people who don’t try to care about others, I judge people who have no empathy, I judge people who can’t accept that they have privilege, I judge people who are assholes basically. There are a lot more but I’m making myself angry now and FH isn’t here to hug me and remind me that everything isn’t terrible so I have to stop.

ETA: I don’t judge people for their weight? Know why? A little thing called Binge Eating Disorder that is every bit as serious and real as Anorexia. It’s the most widely undiagnosed eating disorder and affects up to 1 in 3 obese people.

I don’t judge people who are overweight, because their body their business, but I judge people whose small children are really overweight.

I judge people by what they eat, and how they dress, look in a mirror before you leave the house! I judge people who blindly believe something because they read it online, I judge people who don’t read or own books. I also judge people who get all up on their moral high-horse, because you know those are the people who have something to hide.

IRL – People who habitually drink soda, people who smoke, people who can’t manage their finances, people who are flashy about money.

On Weddingbee – people who are complain about drama but can’t see that they encourage it; the few young 20s bees who ruin it for the rest of you by making extremely immature arguments about how mature they are.
