We met on an AOL chat room when I was 18, both of us in relationships.  I thought he was a nice guy who I liked to talk to.  About 3 years later we reconnected when I signed onto AIM (I no longer had AOL) and he messaged me asking who I was.

We talked for months until we finally met in person and I was so scared/nervous around him because talking online is so different than meeting in person.  I already had feelings for him but seeing him in person just sealed the deal for me.

The moment I first saw him I thought this guy is way out of my league.  He was (and still is) jaw dropping, heart stopping, zack morris from saved by the bell good looking.

Because of that I thought he was a HUGE player.

When I first met my fiance I thought he was….

CREEPY!

We met at work social gathering.  Previous to the event, he had googled me and knew what I looked like and that I played college tennis. I guess  young I.T. women professionals are such a rarity that googling and gawking at google images is necessary?!?  Who knows.  My Maid/Matron of Honor is definitely going to tell this story during her reception speech, lol.

@KatNYC2011:  Haha, when you were both sober, that cracked me up!

Yep, my sweetie still gives me butterflies every single day, too.  It’s wonderful and yet sometimes I feel like such a dork, lol.  Luckily he puts up with all my adoration and he’s very adoring and loving in return.  And snuggly!

8 years – wow – that’s wonderful!

When I first met my fiance.. I thought he was just a hott guy at a bar, looking to add another notch to the bedpost. Undecided Thank God I gave it a chance because I was sooo wrong!

When I first met my fiance, I thought he was….

gay.  No lie.  He and our best man (who IS gay) were bickering about going clothes shopping.  I actually thought the best man was straight and went after him first! lol.

When I first met my fiance I thought he was…

Irresistable, with the lightest most blue eyes I had ever seen. I would forget to breathe every time our eyes met.  I also remember thinking that he was such a gentleman, he must be taken. My luck – he wasn’t!

@Sunfire:  Haha yup! We met when I was 19 and he was 20 at a frat party in college. So we were a bit tipsy by the time we actually laid eyes on each other.

We are now 27 and 28 and I feel so lucky every day to have him in my life.

Even when we get in fights, deep down I still am so happy that we have each other and in a strange way I’m glad it’s him I’m arguing with and not anyone else.

Um, I don’t remember meeting my DH lol. I remember thinking he was really annoying (he asked me out approx 85 times before I gave in)
