you may not be really showing yet, but you will at least be thicker around the waist and your boobs will be a lot bigger (i went from a B-cup to a D-cup).  (if you’re like me, by 16 weeks you’ll look like you’re getting into your third trimester already…but i had two major abdominal surgeries as a teenager and have basically zero abdominal muscle tone.)  be prepared to have to find a different dress if it can’t be altered to accomodate a bump.  talk to your seamstress for sure…sometimes they can work miracles!

If this is your first pregnancy – it is highly unlikely that you will be showing at your wedding!

Just don’t take in the waist or bust of your dress until a week before your wedding (if necessary at all). Explain the the seamstress and I am sure she will understand and accomodate you!

Every person is different. I was wearing maternity clothes at 3 months and others do not wear maternity clothes until 7 months. If it were me I would talk to my seamstress about it and see what she recommends. It is not the first time that someone has gotten pregnant before the wedding 🙂

I think it really depends, on genetics and your body build previous to the pregnancy! use shape wear and a forgiving dress, regardless you will be glowing and gorgeous!

@ay_rad: Meet with a seamstress to discuss options in case you need to take out the dress a bit. As long as youre prepared, everything will be OK!

How many days will you be overseas before the day of your wedding? Could you find a seamstress there?

First of all congrats thats awesome. Secondly I think it depends. Some girls show some do not. Your boobs may be a bit bigger and you may be thicker around the middle without really “showing” I think it depends everyones body reacts differently. I would set aside some extra money for alterations just in case and if you dont use it then thats awesome!!

I got married at 16 weeks and I  was freaking out as well! But it fit fine, most likely you won’t change that much by 3 months. I went out and looked for a just incase dress I could wear for the reception if I wanted to get out of my tight wedding dress. I never ended up getting another dress.. and I’m glad I didn’t.

@ay_rad: You look gorgeous! Maybe you could add a thin corset back to not ruin the beading..Im not well versed in alterations, so a seamstress would be better able to tell you.

Can you find a reliable seamstress at the location where you are having the wedding?

Congratulations!!! This is such an exciting year for you 🙂 Like others have said, you should have a backup dress just in case but you’ll likely not need it. You’re also petite and petite women usually take longer to show. I wouldn’t stress too much, in fact a lot of women are smaller at three months than they were pre pregnancy due to morning sickness and hormonal changes.

First Congrats on your pregnancy… And you may not grow to muchby 3 months but everyone is different and you may be a bit thicker and have bigger boobs so just be prepared for that. Dont stress.. And Congrats on the wedding as well I am getting married Novemer 5th and leaving for my wedding November 3rd as well.. You will be fine…
