Move ahead with the process….I always say never turn down an interesting interview.  The best time to interview is when you already have a job and are not desparate to leave.  If you decide the position is not for you, then turn down the offer if you get one.  Until then, its interview practice!

PS, I’ve been in HR/Learning & Development for 7 years now, so if you have any questions, feel free to PM me!

I agree with PP, you have up until they offer you the job to decide, so I would go ahead with the interview. You’re not committing to anything by taking an interview, and you’ll probably learn a lot about the new job that will help make your decision easier.

As long as you keep having a little bit of interest in the position and/or see some opportunity that you don’t have at your current job, keep going to interviews until you know otherwise. I have gone to and continue to go to lots of interviews, even turned down quite a few offers. It can be irritating but I’m getting practice, seeing what’s out there, and have a better idea of the pros/cons of my current job.

Going to interviews obviously doesn’t mean you have to accept anything, so just take it for what it is – a chance to get a glimpse into other positions/companies and a chance to practice your interviewing skills.

Interviews are for you, too! I’d just go and see what you learn!

I would absolutely interview.  It never hurts to see what else is out there.  And if anything, it gives you practice on your interview skills 🙂

@SweetMelissa429:  go and interview. make sure you ask questions that will help you know wether you will like it there or not. if you are offered the job, then decide what you want to do. no need to decide now. you should interview and see what vibe you get from them. good luck
