@Nona99:  lol I think that’s part of what cracks me up the most.  They try to cutesey up feminine products with making them in every color of the rainbow and giving us delicate little satin bags for when they aren’t in use.  When in reality, that whole process of essentially laying an egg is anything but cute or delicate!  As long as it does the job, I don’t care if the product is doo-doo brown and comes stored in a zip loc baggie.

Yeah, I have a diva cup & the idea freaked my husband out too when I told him what I was going to buy.

I ended up hating it at first (well, I bought it two years ago, tried to use it probably 6 times & taking it out was super painful), but I tried it again recently & I think I like it. It’s kind of hard to get it, and hard to get it to form a good suction (sorry if TMI), and it’s also sort of a pain to take out, but you only have to empty it 3 times a day, even on a heavy day, so that’s worth it’s weight in gold.

@Nona99:  Don’t be embarrased! I chat about my mooncup with my Fiance all the time, he finds it fascinating and cool! I think it’s awesome to have a self-reliant way of dealing with that “time of the month”. It takes a couple months to get used to it, but I can’t live without mine now. I had to use a tampon a few months ago and it was so gross. The string, the blood-sodden wad of cotton, flushing it down the toilet for other people to find? *shudder*. I used tampons for 10 years but I wouldn’t go back now. I find mooncups much cleaner and easier to use 🙂

Also empty it down the sink, it’s a lot easier…!

haha!! “Blue” — best comment

Hopefully he’s not home when the package is delivered. You might want to tell him to steer clear of anything delivered during the next week, lol
