chexmix26 :  I’m about to start working on a ring with Ron! So far he is an angel from above!! What’re your thoughts on the Diamelia?? Do you find it very diamond like? How has the stone been performing? How’s everything with the ring so far?

oluwafemio :  Hello! I also purchased a diamelia directly from Ron. He was great to deal with and his craftsmanship is amazing.

oluwafemio : back story: I own a triple ex GIA diamond and prior to this, I have never seen a moissanite before. A lot of people who have ordered the diamelia said that they couldn’t tell the difference between a diamond and the diamelia. So when I ordered the diamelia, I was expecting for the stone to look 100% like a triple ex diamond.

In some lighting, it looks spot on, but in others, to me, it looks a bit different. The diamond seems to have a bit more depth compared to the diamelia. I think it stems from the fact that moissanites are apparently cut differently than a diamond (now I know).  At the end of the day, it’s still a pretty stone for a fraction of the price of a diamond, and overall, I do like it. I doubt anybody would be inspecting my ring in different lighting situations anyway

First photo – I think looks very similar to a diamond. Second photo – I personally think it looks more flat compared to a diamond.

michellelynn9175 :  no worries! Also uploading a photo comparing it to a triple ex diamond 🙂

another note, I went to the mall today and look at the diamelia’s shiny glory.
