I love the first one as well – and I agree that the second is a bit too much. Just trying to decide whether to go with the vertical baguettes or the traps right next to the sapphire…decisions, decisions…

Congratulations and your sapphire is just stunning! If you don’t mind I’d like to share my EC 3stone ring, not sure if you’ve decided to go for a 3-stone or 5-stone look?
I do love both of the inspiration pics you posted. Good luck on finding the right one!

I’m looking at buying a Chatham stone from the same site as you, and this one is GORGEOUS. Would you mind sharing if this one was considered the medium or dark colour option?

Hey sapphire0916, your stone is gorgeous! I realize from this posting that it is a Chatham sapphire but I am wondering similar things to valkyriejae :
Did you order online or did you go to Jewelry Impressions in person? Which color shade is your sapphire? Is it medium or dark? I know the stone is 10×8…but may I ask your ring finger size? The ratio of coverage on your finger is perfect. How is the sparkle? Your stone is the most gorgeous sapphire I have seen…with the perfect color saturation…and I would like to get one for my upcoming anniversary! But an oval 🙂 Thank you!!!
