My dress finally came in yesterday and I went to try it on. I love it even more than the first time I did. Right now I wish I could wear it everywhere: to bed, out for sushi, to work, to the moon, to the club, you name it.
Now that I have it I need to start making jewelry and veil choices. As far as the veil I am 75% sure I am going with fingerlength with a blusher for volume and no edging (so that I can really go for bling with my jewelry), but I am open to other suggestions.
I have attached some pictures of me in the dress for reference. It is a gorgeous Watters Austin gown, no beading or crystals.. flowy and a bit of a train in the back. As I said before I am not afraid of major bling 🙂 because the dress is so simple. But I am trying to stay away from anything that is too modern or funky just because my wedding themes overall are kind of a more classic look.

I think it depends how you are wearing your hair. I don’t personally think you need a necklace. Statement earrings and a bracelet would look good if you are wearing your hair up.

Gorgeous! I love Watters gowns.
I think blingy, drop earrings would be classic and lovely with the veil you described. I don’t think you need anything else, but if you want more, a pearl bracelet would be beautiful. I would probably skip a necklace with this dress.

I’m also agreeing to skip a necklace, and just some fabulous earrings and a bracelet! BEAUTIFUL dress, you look stunning in it! I totally understand that feeling, wanting to wear it everywhere. 🙂

Man that dress looks beautiful on you! I’m voting for big earrings and maybe a bracelet too. I see that you’re blessed in the bosom region, and a statment necklace has a tendency to “sit on the shelf” when youre bigger in the bust, and it doesn’t look as nice as more moderately sized girls 🙂

thank you all!
I like the idea of big statement earrings, because the “sit on the shelf” thing does make sense- haha.
My only worry is my hair is going to be half up and half down. do you think the earrings will get lost? or do you think it will be fine as long as I pull enough back away from my face? I have a lot of hair and it is long so that is why I am worried… here is a pic of me with my hair down so you can get an idea of what I am working with…

@MissNoodles: Love those hair styles! Big earring with a hairstyle like that will look great with that dress!

Wow that dress is incredible on you! I agree the half up half down look with big earrings will be perfect 🙂

@AubreyLynn: I say that you go all out on a big, blingy necklace and blingy dangling earrings since your dress does not have any on it. Just my idea

I like your dress… i think cascading pearls would look great
