I don’t know that girls are shy…any baby might be stubborn and have their legs crossed during the ultrasound.  But on my ultrasound (and several other girl ultrasounds I’ve seen recently), it’s just as obvious if you know what you’re looking for – they just don’t have such prominent external genitalia ๐Ÿ˜›

Blueeyedgirl212121:  I honestly don’t know what you are trying to say. Are you suggesting an unborn child is being shy? I don’t know how you could discern such a thing from an ultra sound. Maybe I am misunderstanding you though.

bmo88:  she’s saying that in ultrasounds she’s seen, it seems that boys flaunt their penises while girls keep their gentalia hidden.

I have never noticed this.

Lol it might just be that it’s a little harder for a boy to hide those parts.

Blueeyedgirl212121:  That’s interesting! I haven’t seen enough ultrasounds to have an opinion on it though.

But maybe there is something to that? Like unborn babies in general like to be all curled up and maybe like their legs crossed too, but with boys *something* is in the way that makes it more uncomfortable lol

A friend from work was told they were “90% sure” she was having a girl but because the baby wasn’t giving a clear shot they could not guarantee it and this was every time! She did have a girl!

Blueeyedgirl212121:  No need to apologize! Good grief, some people jump at the chance to attack for no good reason. What you’ve pointed out is an observation. Nothing wrong with that. I am 25 weeks (almost 26), and my little girl was super “shy” lol at 3 of my ultrasounds. She had her legs crossed and was in a ball for the 15, 18, and 19 week ultrasounds. I believe that the only reason she moved (and we were able to see her genitalia) was because I downed a bunch of OJ and that gets her dancing every time. I have  heard similar stories to mine from friends and family about their little girls crossing their legs in the womb. Additionally, I’ve heard a lot of stories from people with little boys that say that during their ultrasounds, they were completely spread-eagle. Business just out and about. Lol. Just my experiences. ๐Ÿ™‚

My little boy (I’m 20 weeks) flashed himself quite clearly, but at the same time, hid his face. I told my Fiance that it is definitely his child haha.

I’m 28 weeks tomorrow and my little guy definately made it clear he was a boy at 20 wks. So clear that an untrained eye could tell what he was without being told what to look for.

My cousin’s nephew was grabbing his in his ultrasound.
