That is so unbelievably cute!!! I haven’t helped with something like that but I did see a proposal happen literally right in front of me once. It was a little strange as it was a rave and the girl proposed to the guy(not that that is weird, it was just the entire setting/circumstance was surprising!) and it was on a dingy, dirty, gross floor. I literally said out loud “OMG is this really happening??! Is she proposing!?!?” Not that anyone could hear me but Fiance haha.

I would cry my eyes out if I saw proposals happen all the time. They always get me.

OLol that’s so cute 🙂 . Hell yeah I’ve felt like that lol. Dh didn’t propose in a romantic way *sigh*. We were watching the news and they showed a guy proposing to his gf in a big skating rink in Christmas (can’t remember name but apparently its well known) . Anyways, the girl was ecstatic and started crying, I even shed a tear lol, and dh asks “why didn’t you react like that?”. Well you didnt exactly propose like that -_- lol I mean I was happy and said yes and everything but tbh it was an “eh” proposal.

Oh, and have you seen those Robbins Brothers commercial where they show guys proposing to their gfs? Yeah, those get me too :,)

@atreyu547:  Those commercials get me every time as well! Waiting is hard and that song that they play doesn’t help!

@musician32992:  scavenger hunts are the best! My FH proposed in a super sweet way that was 100% his style. I would have loved a scavenger hunt, but it’s so not like my FH to do something like that, so I get excited to see other people’s pictures/videos instead. When your FH proposes, I’m sure it’ll be sweet in its own way.

@musician32992:  yep, and I promise my husband would never have thought to do that. However, he did bring a beautiful ring across the world in a dirty sock, spend all day hiking with it, and manage to propose in the most perfect spot. In all honesty, I am glad it was the way it was.

My story was also an over the top, amazeballs proposal by my old student to his girlfriend of 6 months. It was about a week before we had the ‘lets pick out a ring and get engaged discussion. I was super grumpy. It got better when I got my ring.

I often do. But no one is perfect. I may have had a living room proposal & I have to drop hints like a mad woman about having some kind of surprise for my 30th, but he’s great in so many ways. I’m never going to worry that he’ll cheat, use drugs, hurt me, nag me about cooking or cleaning…

What I mean is, he’s awesome in ways that matter to me!
