Has anyone been successful with this?
I am currently 138 pounds (5’4) and want to be down to at least 128 pounds for our wedding in 3 months. Am I being unrealistic?
Learning the point values and not splurging and/or lying (or slightly fudging…lol) when putting in what I ate is going to be a challenge for me. Any advice?

I did WW online 5 yrs ago…lost 30 pounds.Kept it off too. It works…you need to track everything you eat. If you don’t it won’t work. It’s a great way to lose weight because you can eat everything and you learn portion control. Read the message boards, they are great help. I am currently doing it again as I’d like to lose about 15 more before my wedding. The average weight loss is 1 to 2 lbs a week. That is the safe weight loss zone to be in. That is why it stays off, it doesn’t come off fast just to have you gain twice as much back. Goodluck!

How did you budget your anytime points? I feel like it is going to take a while to learn to allocate them appropriately.

@RahlyRah: I am currently doing WW online. I really like it, I’m currently on an anxiety medication that makes it very hard to lose weight, and I’ve lost 7 pounds since Jan 1. So I would think that your goal is very reasonable. I am 5’4″ and started at 144 and am at 137 right now- my goal is also 128. It’s the first weight loss method that has actually worked for me while I’m on this med.
I find it kind of entertaining to see how much I can eat for my points allotment. You just have to play with measurements. Somtimes 1TB is one more point than if you use 3 tsp, you just have to take the time to play with it. It gets alot easier. The recipe builder is nice, after you take the time to figure out how to use your points best in a recipe you can save it and then next time you won’t have to go through the measuring again. Skinnytaste.com is a lifesaver. The blog has so many recipes and she figures out the WW points for you, they are all VERY tastey. There are also alot of good recipes on the WW site.
Sugar free jello, unsweetened applesauce and grapes are my go-to 0 point snacks. I also love eating any of the new flavored cherrios (dry) as a crunchy snack- 2ww+ for 2/3 cup.
I try to not use any of my “points plus” until the weekend or for a day that I know of something going on. Getting your workout points up for the week helps alot in those situations. Spin class gets alot of points 8 activity points for 50 mins.
