Hello Hive…it’s me again.
I just posted on the Denver boards (see below) about my discovery of Weddingbee and my desire to relive my own wedding planning days by helping other brides out there. And that applies to everyone…not just those in CO, although I might not be as helpful with vendors with those from other areas.
I have to say that I made the mistake of taking on everything myself from the personalized napkins to all the stress and did not seek help from others. I wish I had known about Weddingbee before now! You ladies are such a supportive and creative community. What an incredible resource! I hope to be able to contribute from the other side of the altar!

I am new to Weddingbee and it makes me so sad! Why sad, you ask? Well, it is because I did not discover this amazing resource until AFTER my May wedding. This would have been such a great help during my planning process. But…since I did not have the benefit of the bee, I ended up doing everything (well, mostly everything) the hard way. Hours of research, incessant polling of family and friends and a lot of DIY to cut costs and control quality. And while all that left me frazzled, it did produce a wonderful wedding day (if I do say so myself). And now, here I am, a Mrs. of 6 weeks, and I am missing my wedding planning days.
I was married right outside Boulder, Colorado and planned the whole thing from Los Angeles. I planned for about 17 months and feel like I have so much to share (which is the reason for this post). If any of you CO brides are looking for some help/suggestions/support as you plan your weddings, I would love to be of service. I researched what feels like every vendor in CO and since we were on a budget, I did my best to keep costs down. I would be happy to assist with your big day…in an attempt to relive mine. 🙂
