So we went to the courthouse today’s and got eloped with the parents knowing, going to have the ceremony in September, I find it soooo weird that I’m now Mrs. B!
how did you guys get used to married life? We have lived together for 3 months so that wasn’t a problem at least it just feels weird to think of myself as a married woman now haha

We eloped at City Hall (although my mom did know, but no other parents). Congrats! Married life wasn’t a drastic change since we’ve been living together for a while now. I’m in the midst of name change stuff, so that’s different! I guess it was more of a mental/emotional change than anything else for us – it really brought us closer, and we both agree it makes us feel like more of a true team.

Congratulations! That’s very exciting!
We’ve been married for over a year andI can tell you, it isn’t much different to me. lol We lived together for years before we got married though, I’m sure that made a huge difference. I always hate when people ask “hows married life”, because it’s really the same, just with a piece of paper saying we’re together. lol

Congrats! Even though we’d been living together for over a year I found it different. He is my first long term relationship so it feels strange (in a good way!) that we’ve committed to be together forever. Also, we’re TTC so hopefully it’ll be a big change soon!

Congratulations! I didnt feel weird about it, I felt more like a grown up lol….and when I started to officially change my mind, it felt like “yes, this is my own little family now”. We lived for a year before getting married, so that whole living with him was only weird when we first moved in. After we got married, that didnt feel odd, it just felt more real, for us!

After we were married I moved into our apartment. He had been living here for a couple of weeks alone. It was weird when I didn’t have my things here. I mean, not weird in a bad way LOL just odd to be living somewhere without my stuff. Once we got the stuff here it started to feel more like home. Now we’re a little family of two and we’ve blended our things. We love it. =)
