@kimjmom:  I’d put the tealights in something… Open flame that close to burlap doesn’t seem like a great idea to me. It looks cute though.

I would put the river rocks in the vase with sunflowers on top of the rocks or on the burlap.

Ikea has tealight holders for less than $1/each! It would be the safer way to go.

The jar candle in the middle is really cute.  I just don’t like the river rocks and votives around it. What if you put in the rock INSIDE the jar at the bottom, with the flower on top?

@kimjmom:  What about only one flower laid flat on the rocks inside (so that it doesn’t touch)? More like this (I know this is a gerber, but they look similar enough to illustrate):

Or you can fill the vase with the river rocks so that the candle looks as if its sitting on the rocks (with no rocks scattered). And you can have a separate vase with submerged sunflowers:

Or you can switch the place of the rocks and the sunflowers entirely, and have more sunflowers scattered around the base of the vase (maybe even try a trio of vases, if you have round tables?)
